My husband and I happened to go to this restaraunt and were quite unsure about it since it seems a bit like a hole in the wall. From the very start we were pleasantly surprised. First things first, I have literal dreams about the queso there. We have to make sure to order extra to keep at home for when they aren't open. The main waitress that is there is absolutely wonderful. She's kind, cares about our child, and always remembers us when we come in. Their tacos are some of the best Mexican tacos we have ever had. I grew up eating Mexican food and I've tried half the Mexican restaurants in Marshalltown, always more disappointed than the last time with the American style fake mex.
I almost cried today when I had real Mexican food for the first time in years. Try the spicy salsa and the verde salsa. The Carnitas Burrito is just phenomenal, and it's huge. This is what Mexican food is supposed to taste like!

Read moreWe had ordered lunch burritos for $8.99 and in the picture it was covered in cheese sauce. When it came out there wasn't any on it. We see sent them back to fix it. There wasn't that much on it. We also ordered some guacamole. It came out in a very small dish and got charged $4.11 just for that. When we got our bill, they charged an extra $5.00 for each burrito to have a little bit of cheese sauce put on. I know we didn't get $10.00 worth of cheese sauce!!!
