I have gone here to personally get food for myself twice, and the 2 times I have been very disappointed. The first time I went was in 2015 years ago. I remember getting a torta and got sick for a week and a half from that. So upsetting. The second time, I decided to give them another chance and got a burrito with no meat or dairy choices, which was still a pretty big sized burrito for taking so much out. The food was mediocre. I’d stay away from the tamales (pork and chicken) , as they were microwaved and dried out. The Grande size burrito is almost two full meals and was good. The tacos were extremely small, on tortillas not much bigger than coaster. I think the burritos are the most bang for you buck here.
All in all, it isn’t bad, but with so many other Hispanic restaurants in Marshalltown I won’t be rushing back...
