Golden China Buffet — Restaurant in Marshfield

I am from out of town like way out of town like the State of Florida out of town. I chose this place because of the distance from interstate. The good 1st I got a table right away, the table was clean, the food was warm, the place is kept well clean with tables and dishes being picked up from table like clock work. The bad stuff the food was bland and the salad bar not so great, my host was kindy not wanting to be friendly but accepted that I was there, the food was warm, when I got up for a 2nd plate my table was cleaned off like I had left, when I asked to replace my fork and drink I felt like I was a being bothersome. I even tried to help find a fork while the server went to get another glass for me. Check out was the same just like every where you go. In the end if your looking for a quick buffet this is a good place to go, but do not expect good customer interactions...

I think the Rude lady that is usually there that works the floor is the owner or one of the owners, otherwise she would have been fired a long time ago. She got upset with me when I told her not to take my soup because I was waiting for it to cool down. She sort of slung it back in front of me when I stopped her. She should of said: “Whoops, I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you were planning to eat the soup.” Or whatever a normal person might have said. No reason to be rude to me because I was letting my soup cool off a bit. Selection of food items is very poor. There isn’t much there that is worth piling on your plate. The Beef and Broccoli was good, but that’s about it. They closed down their Mongolian BBQ window, so there is even less to choose from now. It is the worst Buffett of any type I have ever experienced. Unfortunately it’s the only Chinese...

I wish I could rate in the negatives because out if all the resturaunts I've been to this was the worst. And chinese is one of our favorite dishes to eat. Waitress was rude, acted like she had way better things to do than be there, food was horrible, and the selections were minimal compared to any Chinese buffet we have ever been to. Some of the food items didnt even match the labels on the glass above them. We couldn't even stand the sweet tea because it was disgusting. And it was expensive. We will never go back to this place again unless it's for a full refund of our money. We make better Chinese at home than you can get here. I feel bad for the locals that go here regularly because this is not worth going to at all, they are wasting their time and money on this place. I wouldn't recommend a homeless starving person or animal to go...
