Hunan Garden Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Marshfield

my family and i used to love this place, and the food was great. went in tonight, ordered, waited an hour (like everyone else who ordered), got my food, and went home. now, i specifically ordered 1 general chicken combo, 1 kung pao combo, 1 orange chicken only (no rice), 2 sweet and sour combos, lo mein, egg rolls, and crab rangoon. when i got home everyone grabbed their food and low and behold we didn't get the orange chicken (only), we got a combo (and paid the price of a combo too). my kid will not eat rice, that's why i ordered orange chicken only. we call so we can get the correct thing and the lady hung up on me after refusing to get us the correct order (i didn't even ask for a refund on the orange chicken). we called back again and asked (kindly) for the food we originally ordered. the owner told me i'd have to come in and talk face to face. so i go in with a picture of the incorrect order and he takes my phone out of my hands and yells at me, and completely refuses to believe what i'm telling him. ...still haven't gotten my orange chicken...

p.s. the food was nasty and had NO flavor. if i could put 0 stars, i would. very...

We usually get food here at least once every couple weeks, if not more, and it was our favorite in town. Tonight they messed up our order and gave us all wontons rather than crab rangoon (we always order extra crab rangoon and did tonight as well). We went back not 20 minutes later and the guy refused to admit he was the one who made the mistake and charged us another $7 for the correct portion of our order. I really hope that $7 was worth losing regular customers good, because we are never going back to Hunan Garden. There are several other Chinese restaurants in town that'll love...

My husband and I can never get enough. We have never gotten sick here, never been upset, and never disappointed. We love the couple who owns and works here, they are the absolute cutest and we love them very much. The day this place closes is the day we die a little inside. There is nothing that compares to here, and there will never be another place close to how they cook and serve their guest. I recommend it to anyone and everyone I know who lives in Marshfield or comes to visit or drive by. I’d give them 10...
