DISAPPOINTED! We ordered takeout. The online prices were about 30% lower than what was charged. Chicken Piccata was $15.99 online, we were charged $22.99. The Chicken Parmigiana was $15.99 online and we were charged $22.99. The Nonna's Chicken Broccoli Ziti was $14.99 online and we were charged $20.99. The side of meatballs were $4.99 and we were charged $6.25. It can not be legal for a restaurant to charge $7.00 more for a plate what was advertised online. The portions were extremely small, there was hardly any sauce, and the food was soggy and just warm. Meatballs were good though. Having to pay $79 when you are expecting $50 is a disgrace. This is our first and absolutely last time we'll go here.

We had takeout from the Marshfield location of eggplant parmigiana and pasta bolognese, shown on the left and right in the image. Both fell flat and didn't have that fresh zestful italian cooking flavor, it was mediocre at best. The eggplant was mushy and dull and submerged in an under-seasoned sauce, and the bolognese was bland with a few onions and meat bits and was topped with an off-putting glob of mozzarella cheese. You'll do much much better with Mia Regazza if you have the time.

Only one waitress. Bartender tried to fill in and help waitress. Finally able to order from bartender then after order placed the waitress showed up. Food excellent and plentiful. Waitress. After a while picked up remaining food. And packaged and bagged it for us.

My friends and I came here to eat very recently. We are all 21+ and ordered some drinks. The waitress checks IDs, verifies our age, then goes back to put in our order. About maybe 5-10 minutes later she comes back and says “I’m so sorry guys, I’m new, I had no idea that I’m supposed to run IDs through a box.” Totally fine, we’re super understanding and hand our IDs back right away.

A few minutes later a woman who didn’t even look much older than us storms out with our IDs - our state issued IDs that we’ve used hundreds of times with no problem - and basically starts yelling at us that our IDs came up fake and that she’d have to confiscate them until we can prove they are not. Honestly, she came at us with such hostility that at first I thought she HAD to be joking. She was not, and kept demanding that we prove we’re all 21+, even made a point to flick at our ID’s as if they were some sort of flimsy knock off. We found second proofs of identification to show her which she barely glanced over before declaring that we were “clear.” One of my friends didn’t have something readily available to show her and had to scroll through her photos to find it and the woman literally walked off with her ID clearly not intending on giving it back. We ended up leaving afterwards because she had made us so uncomfortable but then my friend went back in because we figured if our IDs were “failing” we needed to know for a fact so we could fix it.

As it turns out, there is no “box” that they have to run IDs. They just clearly didn’t want to serve us, as evident by the way that they continued to act rude and talk down to my friend when she went to investigate.

I am a small business owner, and a former waitress of four years. I KNOW times are tough, things happen, etc. etc. and am the LAST person to ever say anything when things happen. Everyone I know can vouch for the fact that I’m an incredibly forgiving person and will make excuses for everything under the sun. I have NEVER experienced something like this. I am appalled at how hostile and unwelcoming the staff was, especially how once we proved that we were actually 21 and our IDs were not fake they continued to be rude and talk down to us. They just simply did not want...

Our server was fantastic! She was very attentive and personable, and she gets 5 stars. Unfortunately, I cannot give Mama Mia's itself more than three stars. This particular location was on the dirty side. There was food on the seat of a booth, a used napkin under our table, and the rug looks as if it's been years since it's been cleaned. The a/c was actually too cold, and condensation could be seen all along the edges of the ceiling vent. Mind you, it was early, maybe 45 minutes after opening, so it's not as if it was super busy( though that would not be an excuse for not doing basic cleaning). It's a shame as the Visciarello's( sp) who own the local chain cannot put forth the effort and money to ensure that every location, whether super busy or not , lives up to the reputation that they've built over the years. And lastly, they have changed their sauce recipe. Where before it was thicker with great flavor, it is now overly thin and bland. Seems as if the owners do not seem to care about quality as much. I've given them multiple chances , but sadly this visit...

I liked it. The food and service were fine.

It's a big restaurant and lounge. The location is convenient. There was plenty of parking.

We got there at 4pm and had a booth. They make sure you are very cool with their AC.

Service was quick and the waitress was kind and helpful. Food was quick to be served.

The salad is pretty basic: iceberg lettuce, a couple of cherry tomatoes and slices of cucumber, two heaping tablespoon of black olives and a little spring mix lettuce (to make it fancy?).

The tortellini soup was good but could use a little bit of vegetables.

The lasagna, homemade pasta and raviolis tasted a little bland but good. The kitchen was kind enough to split the plate but it felt like the raviolis were kind of thrown into the bowl and sauce was put over it.

The washroom was big, clean and well supplied. There was a big accessible stall.

They had high chairs and lots of small kids enjoyed...
