I walked into The Marsh on a random Wednesday night, hoping to distract myself from a tough day at work. What I found was so much more than just a meal. The food was incredible, comforting, full of flavor, and with an amazing selection. The pizza was perfectly crispy, just the way I like it. And the chicken pot pie, I don’t even have enough words for that one, I think about it frequently.
What truly made the night unforgettable, though, was my waitress, Erica. From the moment she greeted me, she went above and beyond. She wasn’t just attentive, she was genuinely kind, engaging, and brought a warmth to the experience that I never expected! She made several recommendations based on her favorites, and I’m so glad I followed through with them. Every suggestion was spot-on! Erica took care of every detail, from refilling drinks to making sure I had everything I needed. But beyond her outstanding service, she did something even more special, she made me laugh until I was in tears. By the end of my meal, my entire mood had shifted.
I can’t say enough about Erica and the incredible service she provided. If you’re passing through or live nearby, I highly recommend The Marsh Coal-Fired Pizza. Not only for the amazing food but for the kind of service that turns your day around. Thank you, Erica, for making such...
Read moreThe condescending attitude and disrespect from all staff is indescribable. We ordered take out, asked have a drink at the bar. The hostess sent us to the bar and told us to leave our pizzas at the cash register. 1st the bartender said she didn’t want to serve us because we were not eating there. Then we told her we pizzas to go. We asked for a cocktail menu, she very rudely laughed at us and said they didn’t have one. She then told us she “didn’t feel comfortable serving us”-as a former server any person can say this to a customer, I understand that. However, if there is no reason, it is a bit offensive. When I called to speak to the manager her referred to me as “people like you” more than once. To top it off the pizza was burnt. I was truly offended. I am not from Marshfield and don’t usually write reviews. We had a designated driver, we were well behaved and don’t appreciate their attitudes. I am just in awe of all of the behavior from each staff member. The manager was useless to say the most, referred to a friend a bug eyed when we were leaving. I called to speak with him, he demeaned me most of our conversation with judgmental insults and stereotypes. Save your money, go...
Read moreI had gone here on 02/24/2024 with a friend for a lunch. The place was busier than normal for a Saturday afternoon which was a nice surprise. We were able to quickly get seated in the bar area at a high top near the window.
We ordered the coal fired wings as an appetizer. They were great, especially if you like coal fired wings with a char on them. The blue cheese dressing that it came with was one of the best i've had so far.
We also ordered a pizza which we created with Caramelized onions, mushrooms and italian sausage. All of the ingredients including the sauce was very flavorful and top notch. I even enjoyed eating the edges of the crust which I rarely do.
Atmosphere was nice on a windy, cold Saturday afternoon. Service was a bit slower than usual as I don't think they were prepared for the crowd. The server we had was very cheerful and pleasant when she was at our table though.
Overall, nice atmosphere with good service. Service is probably better on different days than the one I went on based on previous experience. Food was great and will...
