Sammies — Restaurant in Martin

Sandwich place interior is pretty neat, place even has a Sandwich Challenge, but I couldn't find much info, so I guess you'll have to ask for the details 🤷🏻‍♂️ just know there is 30 mins to complete it. I ordered the Mediterranean pita with no cheese or dressing and gf got the Cali veggie with no cheese, onions, or ranch. Neither got the sprouts listed due to being out of stock and her order had to be sent back due to having ranch and onions on it. They quickly replaced it with no hassle, which I'm thankful for. Initially, I thought the cuts on some of the veggies were crude at best, honestly I've never seen chunks of veggies put on a sandwich, usually they're slices of whatever veggie... but ok. My pita, I thought was pretty good, added a few peppers from the little pickle bar, as well. The Cali veggie, that was the one with weird cuts. It was alright, out of the two, the pita was the better choice. However, about 10 mins after finishing my meal, I got sick. I don't know if maybe there was cross contamination or what. Ordered form doordash tonight after waiting on my order, the dasher picked up my order then messaged me saying she wouldn’t be able to deliver my order and for me to cancel it. We all know that makes no sense I can’t cancel a order that’s been picked up and payed for because then I won’t get a refund. After asking the dasher is it anyway she can have another dasher pick it up instead the dasher refused to respond to me. After contacting dasher support doordash told me the driver isn’t answering for them either. After a while the dasher marked my order as delivered even though she never showed up. I even have the messages to prove she stopped responding and never arrived with my order. Doordash states it maybe nothing that they can do. Called Sammies and their clueless even if it’s not their fault I still feel like they should do something about their consumer being ripped off. I reported the dashers name to Sammies as well this entire experience is ridiculous and unprofessional I want my $24.00 back or my order...

Always a great place for food and fellowship with family and friends. My wife and eldest son visited here for luncheon after attending.morning worship and Bible study at the Macedonia church of Christ.

The staff is always friendly, attentive, and cognizance of patrons wants and needs. We were greeted as we walked in the door. We made our way to the ordering outer. Again greeted by a friendly face. We ordered, I paid for our food and beverages, then made our way to our seats. This is a popular place, but with Spring Break at UTM in swing there were plenty of seats for us to choose from in which to have a seat.

Our food was quickly delivered and piping hot. The food was, as always, very pleasing to our taste buds, and the service was prompt. We enjoyed our entrees and beverages while enjoying the opportunity to relax and enjoy our meal.

We never fail to be impressed by the hospitable atmosphere and employees at this Martin franchise.
