DAIRY QUEEN — Restaurant in Martinsville

Just went for the first time. Ordered 2 double cheeseburgers and a large fry. Got to the window and she had a large COKE instead of a large FRY. No big deal. It happens. She was very sweet. She said “do u want the coke”? We don’t drink coke but why waste it. They would just throw it away. So she handed up the coke and our nice hot cheeseburgers 🍔. Then… some person. I am assuming was a manager, came to the window. He said, “did u have a large fry”? yes. Yes we did. He said “u got the coke”? And waited for us to give it back to him. The nice girl then handed us the bag of fries, embarrassed I am sure. We then watched the man pour the coke out in the sink. Really? So much for first...

Decent food, good service, clean establishment. I am happy to have one in Martinsville, although I wish they still sold the gravy with the chicken basket meal. Nevertheless, they have accounted for it. The toast was buttery and a good mix between soft and crunchy. The chicken was crisp but flavorful. Out of all the Dairy Queens I've been in this one is the best. Giving order was very pleasant, she offered up the deals if I ordered something and didn't know there was a special.
