Wings Etc. — Restaurant in Martinsville

We went here on a Sunday at 8pm, with 5 adults. Sat inside at the hightop tables. We were in a rush and had a 5 hr drive ahead of us. We asked how long the food would take and they said 20minutes. Menu has nice options. We got boneless wings with 4 different flavors. The chicken bacon ranch wrap and a salad with chicken. After an hour later...we finally got our food. I asked the waitress if she could go check on our food because it was taking so long. She came out with the food tray right away (aka it had been sitting there). The fries were cold and the BBQ sauces on the wings were cold. The food itself tasted good! And the wings were big.

We never got any drink refills from the waitress. We had to ask for the bill and a to-go box because the waitress was in 0 hurry and didn't check on us at all. They were more interested in talking to each other than the customers.

Never go here unless you want to spend 1.75 hours waiting to eat wings. The atmosphere was pretty blah and all other tables had people who were waiting on their food too. Also, multiple TVs were on the same channel right...

Inconsistent portions.

We went the other day, got ~$50 in food, and it was great. Tons of food for the money.

Today, we got eight mushrooms and the person manning the counter told us if we wanted more we could buy them for $7.49. We already paid to upgrade an existing side to fried mushrooms, and you can see what that got us in the photo.

Additionally, the other meal that came with straight fries barely had any, versus the other day when it filled half of the takeout container.

It's frustrating because we based our purchase today off the service several days ago.

Edit: Inconsistent service too. The burger was not made correctly. My wife discovered on her first bite just now. The crispy chicken on my wrap was anything but crispy. The bacon was undercooked. Fries are soggy and not crispy.

They weren't super busy or anything, it took only a few minutes to transport the food home and we were there when it came out of the kitchen.

No idea what happened in the last three days but we'll be avoiding them...

"Update" The management really went out of their way to make things up, while I didn't take them up on their offer, as it was too generous, I did get a cheaper more modest replacement meal and appreciate it, it was very good.

This one was a rough one. I haven't been to this location in awhile. I ordered 24 bone-in wings with BBQ sauce.

I received a tin pan that had the wings and sauce.

When I arrived home I opened the pan and the sauce was pretty hit and miss and then when I looked closer at the wings they were crispy dry. It was like gnawing on leather.

I kept telling myself "they are just crispy" but they aren't they are burnt or something. Stinks cause it was a waste of money.

They were all dried out and chewy. I do not have wings often but I'm thinking they aren't supposed to be that way. I ended up trying to eat three but threw...
