We called to have our daughter’s washer repaired. Rusty came out and “fixed” it and charged us over $200. When my daughter went to use it for the first time after the “repair”, it still had the same problem, failing to drain or spin. My husband called and left messages and, as many other reviewers have stated, our call(s) were never returned. It should be mentioned that while Rusty was at the house working on the machine, my husband had to Google how to put one of the parts, a metal panel, back on because Rusty appeared to be struggling to reattach it (it turned out he had it upside down).

Ultimately, after 3 weeks without a washing machine, we called another repair shop in Martinsville and they responded promptly. The problem?….a $26 speed sensor and a piece of clothing trapped in the drum that prevented the spin cycle from working. Even with “labor” the cost was half of what Rusty charged AND the washer is fixed! I do not recommend this business in light of the exorbitant cost of repairs that DID NOT fix the problem and more importantly the lack...

I called and scheduled a maintenance repair on my dishwasher. Rusty reached out and set up a time to come check it out. He arrived and after a couple of hours he was unable to detect a leak. He told me if the issue persists he would come back out and wouldn’t charge me another service fee (since I paid him and he was unable to resolve my issue). He said he would come back out do a more extensive look at the issue. Well a week later my dishwasher displayed the same error code. I called and texted him to come back out. He set up a time and the day of he completely ghosted me. He stopped responding, ignored my texts and calls, and completely robbed me of the service fee while not fixing any problems. I was very upset and disappointed that I wasted my money and the issue was not resolved. My wife and I recently bought a used washer and dryer set. The washing machine was not working and we weren't aware the dryer we got was a gas dryer. We called Rusty Newman and he came to our house a little while later. He was able to fix our washing machine, and he helped us hook up the dryer since we didn't really know how. Upon completing the repairs he checked both machines, made sure they were working properly, and he made sure we were satisfied with the repairs. Rusty Newman is very professional, made sure we know what was being fixed, and was very polite. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would.
