I arrived in the afternoon. The staff was unprofessional. I overheard conversations of how they were over worked and ready for a nap and it showed it their performance today.
I asked for a chicken quesadilla... simple right? I thought it would be at least. I know I can be picky with the proportions of how I like it to be put together. I do my best to communicate effectively so most of the time it is not an issue at other locations.
However, the employee helping me failed to listen to my instructions at least 3x at every step of the process. I felt like they were robotic and didn't take care to pay attention.
For example, too much rice, added extra beans that I didn't want, didn't give me the option to add veggies or the ingredients that I really desired.
When I asked for the quesadilla to be scrapped and redone, they denied it was necessary and tried to add on the other ingredients they forgot. They opened the the quesadilla after it was already cooked with cheese, causing it to be a messy and sloppy meal. I felt too embarrassed and uncomfortable to try to voice my dissatisfaction with the employees any further because there were other customers behind me waiting and I didn't want to be "That customer". I felt pressured to just pay.
At this point I noticed they did not wear gloves while preparing my food towards the end while adding the other sides. Their facemasks were not on properly. It was just a horrible...
Read moreI'm honestly taken back at the terrible customer service I received at this location. I ordered online and then after arriving at the store Natalee told me they couldn't make the order because the terminal was down. They also said they couldn't refund me until the next day. I then called the next day and Ty said he couldn't refund us until the next day (again). We asked for the corporate phone number and he gave us the number Qdoba employees can call if kitchen equipment needs repair.
The staff at this store (Ty and Natalee) should be fired, as they are some of the rudest people I've ever encountered in food service. It's obvious that they don't even remotely care about their customers or the job. I'll never return to this store and I'll make sure I'll tell my network how terrible this location is. I've contacted my bank because I never received my food and it is nigh impossible to get a refund from an online Qdoba order at this location.
(UPDATE 8/29/21: Qdoba finally refunded my order. The agent on the phone could obviously care less about how much the location in question dropped the ball. Not even a sorry, complementary item or anything. With the quality of both the service and food having gone downhill we won't be back to any Qdoba...
Read moreWell, I've never really left bad reviews, but this time around, I feel I need to. I've worked in the restaurant scene in my life, and I understand the stress and doggedness of this environment. I will say the place was really clean and maintained. My issue comes from the treatment of myself and a few others when, on a nice fall day, we decided to eat outside in the warm weather. After being outside a few minutes, a member from the kitchen came out to smoke in the sun. We were upwind of them and being put off by the smell. I approached him with genuine manners and asked if they could move upwind from us. There was an area they could have gone that was easily reached and still in the nice warm sun. What I got was, "I work here." And a dismissive additude. They moved on after they finished, but still, that's not a good way to handle things. đ I understand the stress and the doggedness, but I do know that smoking at the front door is not the designated smoking area, and when a customer uses manners in the way they are meant to, not couched in animus feeling, they are just asking for their experience not...
