I placed a fairly large order last night, and when we discovered that a sandwich was missing, and the bowl of chili was only halfway filled in the styrofoam bowl, we called the store to let them know. My husband spoke to one of the employees and explained there was an issue with our order, (we even offered to take pictures of what we had) and we were told that someone would bring another sandwich and another bowl of chili. We waited almost TWO HOURS for someone to come back and when no one did, we called the store back.
The same woman that originally took the call answered the phone again, and it was immediately apparent to us that she did nothing to rectify the situation after our first call. Obviously this made us upset since we've been waiting for the food we paid for --- and especially because it was intended for our daughter who was still patiently waiting to eat. The woman then put a man who was a manager on the phone because we were getting nowhere with her, and he was even more rude than the woman! He basically accused my husband of being a thief, because he said he "deals with people that claim they didn't get their food all the time". He went on to say he didn't know what we wanted him to do now because they were closed anyway and we'll just have to call back during normal hours and then he HUNG UP on us!!!
Whatever happened to great customer service and "the customer is always right""? I spent $60.00 on my order ---- why on Earth would I claim that the Ham & Cheese sandwich was the item that was missing --- especially when there were much more expensive subs in my order ---- if I was trying to get over on them?!? Why were we told they would send someone back out to deliver another sandwich and chili during the first phone call if they thought we were lying to begin with?
I've been a customer of this place for several years now, but needless to say, I'm not happy, and will never return. I refuse to give my hard earned money to a place whose customer service is atrocious. Let them keep the $6.49 ---- I hope it was worth deeply offending and ultimately losing repeat customers like my husband and I ----- as well as my family, friends and associates once I tell them about...
Read moreWe have been ordering from A1 pizza every month for at least 3 years. We usually have a great experience. However, on this particular occasion, I ordered an extra large Pizza with pepperoni and bacon. An extra large with pepperoni and sausage was delivered by a very nice woman who always talks about her 5 kids. I called A1 immediately to explain about the mix up. The woman (without an accent) accepted my call, apologized for the confusion and stated that she would leave a note on my account. I called today (a week after the delivery mix up) and a woman with a thick accent answers my call stating that she is the manager. I explained the details to her ( along with my receipt details which included the receipt number, date and the server name) and she says there is no note on the account. She argued me down stating that they dont correct orders and that the driver should have paid. It makes no sense to me why the driver would have to pay since they don't make the pizzas but only deliver them. This woman also had 0 customer service and no regard for maintaining a long time customer. It was a horrible experience. Instead of fussing with them, I decided to leave this comment to prevent consumers from going through a negative experience. Save yourself the trouble and order elsewhere. Don't give your hard earned money to a mom and pop shop that doesn't appreciate your support. There are other Pizza spots that are...

You own a restaurant business and think that a paying customer would go out of their way to fake a picture by moving food on a sandwich just to make it look bad?!? What would I have to benefit from doing something that? I'm upset that I paid over $15 for a sub with only meat on half of it, which is why I posted a negative review. And your response to my review and the poor service by your employees is to accuse me of faking a picture just so that I could post a negative review? I think I understand now why someone at your restaurant would think it's fine to serve a sub with only half meat on it, based on your immature and rude response. Avoid the cheesesteak subs, unless you don't mind an 8" sub with only meat on half of the sub (see pic). I just picked up a carry-out order from here and there was only cheesesteak on about 60% of the sub. This was the first time I've been back to this place in years, and it used to be good years ago. But apparently the quality has gone down hill since. The food is also priced higher than other nearby places (Ledo Pizza cheesesteak is cheaper and better). Definitely won't be...
