They no longer are a restaurant supported by clover so you can't order ahead online. When I asked why, she wouldn't tell me. When I asked why the carryout order I placed in store was so much more expensive than what it said online, she wouldn't tell me. All I've gotten from there so far was Chinese(American) food and not the least bit Japanese. I will not be back again. They clearly blew it at their last chance to prove to me they're a Japanese restaurant. It's just an overpriced joke with no transparency. Stay away! Overpriced and not authentic! The prices online are not accurate and I just paid $3+ more for my order with no explanation! I didn't even get the salad that was supposed to come with it! Stay Away!
Edit: In response to the reply, thank you for proving my point. You addressed none of the lies/cheats I experienced during my visit. But by offering pad thai you've proven you have no intention of offering Japanese cuisine or providing honest service. I didn't get the salad that I was supposedly to, I didn't get an answer to anything I asked about in store and I was overcharged by several dollars, you don't have an answer for that, but Oh! Pad thai coming soon? Is that supposed to make anything I said in my review better? There are Thai restaurants that give a better pad thai than a "Japanese" restaurant (only because you chose to put "sushi" in the name) that is trying to lump all Asian countries' cuisine under one roof. Why not try giving better Japanese food/service? Why not give better food from the country you're actually from? You're just promoting a racist mentality by refusing to acknowledge that different Asian countries have different foods and they don't need to be lumped together in a restaurant you've named "sushi." You should be ashamed at what you've done. You are lying and cheating people and couldn't even defend that point in your reply. You're a disgrace to all Asian people in this country. What next? If I order sushi/pad thai, can I get fries with that? ...
Read moreUpdate January 2021: Sushi Q3 is still a go-to place for hibachi and sushi in my neighborhood. They have adapted well for carry-out during the pandemic. Hibachi is always fresh and well-portioned. Sushi selection is better than many other establishments in the region, and you can always request their special rolls that are not listed in the menu. Freshness of the sushi to-go could be a little better though.
Sushi Q is a local chain restaurant that really hits the mark for good consistent food and service. This is their third and newest location, which is conveniently close to my house.
Sushi is of course the highlight here. They have one of the largest selections of special rolls in the area. The sushi always comes freshly prepared, with warm rice and just fried to order tempura. My favorites are the Lobster Roll, Da Bomb Roll, and one called the 151 Fire Roll. I highly recommend trying that last one. It comes with a flaming bowl to warm and crisp the slices of roll right before popping them in your mouth. Really fun and entertaining to have with some friends! They have a variety of hibachi appetizers and entrees to choose from as well, from deliciously smoky fried rice to crisp katsu with YumYum sauce. Each meal comes with soup and salad, and sushi starts with a complimentary appitizer. They even serve a complimentary cheesecake desert to top everything off!
The facility is very modern and clean. It is not cozy, but still makes for a good atmosphere. Service is always friendly and usually good, but sometimes under staffed.
For a really good sushi experience in the Glen Burnie, Linthicum area, give one of these locations a try. I doubt you will be...
Read moreI recently ordered carryout from here. I've ordered from here multiple times, carry out included. I gave the 25-30 minute timeframe they told me over the phone before I headed over to get my order. I walked in, paid, and was told to wait a second. After 10 mins I asked another employee the status of my order and he held his finger up at me (to wait) and then just didn't respond. Number one... the finger was unnecessary. I found another employee and asked the same thing. She then told me it would be ready in 15 mins.. After I asked for a refund they just magically found my order sitting on the table with all the other orders.. This place is going downhill with the customer service. I wasn't the only one frustrated in line (there were 6 others behind me waiting for their orders). This was just a random Tuesday lunch rush they were dealing with... There are a lot of people out looking for a job, hire additional staff if you can't keep up with the rush, especially...
