Asian Express — Restaurant in Maryland

As far as Chinese fast food restaurants go, this restaurant seems to have a larger than average number of menu selection. Prices are on the low end, and food quality is fair to so-so. Case and point: I ordered the fried scallops platter which was priced pretty low for this area (about $12) and was very disappointed to find the scallops were actually a processed soy-fish mix with scallop flavor. Those aren't scallops, and calling those scallops was fraud. There was also no disclaimer in the menu. Just makes me wonder what else they call meat when it's really processed soy beans. I thought to take the entree back, but I'm not sure they would understand. They also always say 15 minutes when you place a carry-out order, but if you show up on time you'll be waiting another 15 minutes in their order area. Happened both time I ordered for carry-out. ...

The food taste was okay. We ordered delivered to a business in a group of 3. Paid more than the order should have been. The free soda that came with it they gave no choice of type of soda. There was 2 packs of ketchup in the bag when we told them to make sure they added ketchup ( maybe should have been literal and said how many packages to send). It was a big thing of fries so would have figured they would have sent more. Don't order any American food. They don't know how to cook it properly. I ordered Steak and cheese with onion rings, as well as buffalo wings with fries. They fried the buffalo sauce on the wings and forgot the cheese on the Steak sub. I know mistakes happen in the kitchen. So I called back and told them about it. Hey got mad and told me that's how it's done. Lol. Don't waste your money here. They don't respect you all they care about is a quick sale. For terrible food, the steak has no flavors.
