Cheezy's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Maryland

My wife and older daughter had our vehicle out and about, and my youngest daughter and I were sitting at the hotel where we are staying, bored, and hungry. Obviously I was limited to our two feet as to where we could go and I didn't want to walk too far with a 7 year old so I pulled out Google maps and wanted to find something unique that I've never been to, and Cheezy's stood out. It was legitimately a 6-7 minute walk from our hotel, and my daughter enjoyed pressing the buttons at the crosswalk at the intersection along the way. 😀 we got there, and the menu was HUGE, I wasn't expecting so many options. My daughter wanted pizza, so I ordered her a single slice of pepperoni, and I always like to try the burgers at unique food stops like this.

First off, the pizza slice came out impressive. Biggest slice that I've seen my favorite pizza stop of all time, Little Italy, in my hometown of Saint Petersburg, FL, and she loved it. The burger? I'm not gonna say it was the best I've ever had, but it was the best I've had in a LONG time. Very flavorful. Onions were grilled to perfection, and I LOVED the bun. The homemade potato chips put a nice touch to the meal, too, and were good. On top of that, the workers allowed us to refill our sodas before we left which normally from a sign in the store costs a little pocket change, but they allowed us to have it for free, which was nice. They were all pleasant.

My husband and I with our 3 teens just had dinner at Cheezys. i read good reviews , but we weren't sure what to expect, since we had never been in. We were very pleasantly delighted! The food is fantastic! I was told that the pizza is REALLY from scratch ( not frozen dough balls, like other places!!)) we got Popeye spinach white pizza, OMG this was amazing!!!! Fresh garglic, spinach n the cheese was high quality, it's all " Abt " THE STRETCH!""" Of the cheese, n yes I'm a foodie if you can't tell!! My son had thr spaghetti and meatballs, and there's a definite tang to the meatballs. The homemade sauce is full of flavor and the fresh parmesan cheese is wonderful. The breadsticks are the best I've ever had. Hubby had a chicken parmesan sandwich and declared it excellent. It came with a side salad that had plenty of tomatoes and cuke slices and a delicious balsamic vinaigrette. The prices are quite reasonable which is nice for a family of 5! It states on the menu that if you're in a hurry be sure to let them know and they'll do their best to accommodate you., everything is cooked fresh to order, wait time was 17 min for 9 menu items, worth it!!!!That should help the lunch crowd. I would!!This is a great old school family ran restaurant that goes above and beyond for their customers stumbled across this place many years ago when I used to do service work and I wouldn’t just eat anywhere due to the fact that my job (pest control 20yrs) had me in a lot of kitchens so I would know the in’s and outs the Cleanliness the owners that didn’t care the owners that were Passionate And that it just wasn’t a sub shop to them it was their LIFE ! And it shows that the owner and the employees of Cheesy‘s Cares about the food they put out and it’s Awesome!! the owner is a great guy and he keeps his place clean & on point!!!! Everything is great the crab 🦀 cakes ,crab Pretzels🥨 cheesesteaks💯 , pizza 🍕 wings 🍗, turkey burgers 🍔 wraps, meatballs baked ziti , you name it it’s awesome!!💯 and they even deliver which makes it even better and it’s always hot and fresh !!!!!!
