Today I walked into a war zone! I would like to think in my 56 years I haven't become soft. As a New York transplant of 27 years this was THE WORST experience in any Chic- Fil-A. I walk into an elderly woman being ignored as she tried to ger her ice cream and her correct food. The manager Ann was standing directly in front of me and would not move to give that customer SERVICE! move ya behind and put out the fire! NO SMILES, NO APOLOGY NOTHING! I'm all for giving youth an opportunity to Excell but that means you have to want to do better and be better than the rest of the staff.
Ann was at the register to take my order. I would have been fine with her stepping away to assist the elderly woman. But she did NOT move her feet. I was there because yesterday I went through the drive thru and my order was totally Wrong. I advised the person on drive thru I AM ALERGIC TO CHEESE what did I get.... cheese. I let Ann know that I spoke with Brianna and she advised me that my name would be in the book. Rather than Ann go and get the book she stood there calling an associate to help her get Brianna! To tell me that I couldn't substitute my drink for the seasonal drink because it is $5 more. I asked could I get it as a courtesy for the inconvenience of having to drive back from. OWINGS MILLS. Ann made a poor management decision AGAIN.
NO EMPLOYEE HAS A SMILE nor did they seem to be in a good space. It seems to be the vibe and energy...
Read moreIve had 3 instances where my order was messed up. The first was when they first opened I ordered 2 spicy chicken deluxe meals through the drive-thru, came home, opened my bag to see a regular chicken sandwich and not the spicy chicken that I had ordered, but it's okay I acknowledged it because they're newly opened - mistakes happen. The second time, I had went in with 3 friends of mine to dine-in and we all ordered a spicy chicken deluxe meal, well let me tell you .. only 2 came out to the table, and when we asked where the other 3 sandwiches were the server looked confused. We showed him the receipt and he said he'd bring them right out (all the meals were on the same receipt since I had paid for everyone). I acknowledged it again. It took almost 15 minutes for the other sandwiches to come out to the table. The third instance, I ordered the same thing I always get through the drive-thru, I ordered 2 spicy deluxe sandwich meals, came home, opened the bag and this time it was the correct sandwiches but no fries. This one I completely didn't acknowledge them for because this happened 3 weeks ago. The same mistakes can't be happening so often. I don't even go to this chick fil à anymore. I just drive up to the owings mills location. They are giving a bad name to chick fil à because of how unorganized they are. They're excuse can no longer be because...
Read moreI love the food. But please do better with employees who work outside. I came in line, there were two young ladies outside. The lady that was taking orders in my line appeared to have mistaken work for at school or at a friends house. As I approached her to take my order she was crying laughing (not at me) while talking to the other employee to the point were she seemed to have forgotten I needed my order taken. I had to say “hi” for her to come back to reality and she apologizes then proceeds to take my order. After telling her what I want and having to repeat my self a third time I get to the window just for the drive thru crew to tell me I was only charged one meal. I ordered 4 chick fil a sandwiches one was a meal and all I got was one so after waiting for the young lady in the line to finish laughing so she could take my order then having to repeatedly tell her what I want then finally reaching the window I then have to wait another few minutes in their “VIP” section of the parking lot so they can prepare the rest of my order. There is nothing special or VIP about having to wait for my order that should have been ready for me...
