Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Maryland

This is the FIRST chipotle I have been to in the DMV area that covered these points all with high marks: Cleanliness Great Customer Service-Friendly- Helpful Food quality AND quantity Didn't rush us Fountain drink station was fresh Cutlery Area Stocked & Cleaned

Food - I usually have a stomach ache after eating at chipotle. Not this time! You can tell they are clean. I noticed certain other chipotle's steak/chicken was hotter than normal which makes me believe they cook their steak on the same grill as the al pastor chicken. This locations steak tasted how it's SUPPOSED TO my bf and I took a sigh of relief after taking a bite...and another...and another 😉. BEST PART: The guacamole WASN'T BROWN either, it was simply PERFECT! Double meat is ACTUALLY double meat and their steak was juicy! Seriously ya'll.

I really should've taken a picture but this was too good. I'm happy, my bf's happy. We get to go home stomach ache free and that's important. In restaurants it's a team effort but after all good management has to play a role in here. Fresh food is amazing and Customers know when its old or half cooked. Just please eat here you will NOT REGRET IT. I'll leave a picture of the guacamole which is still cold (not cool or luke warm like other places) and fresh 30 minutes after my meal. It was a perfect addition to cool down with accompanying my summer meal.

This is the standard for chipotle!

Think about when your eating your guac maybe cool or lukewarm and notice it's starting to turn brown already....while you're eating it. Fyi- that's not normal. Does your local chipotle check all...

9 Month Update - 3 stars This location is a bit difficult to assign a rating to as it's not a conventional Chipotle. There is limited indoor seating that is not well arranged, however if you order online the Chipotle Lane pickup works very well. Initially they had significant issues with order accuracy but that has mostly resolved over the past 4 months.

Initial Review - 2 stars Despite the recent "business confirmed" hours and opening date, this location is still under construciton and not yet open.

This is a bit of an unusual location and does not inspire confidence for when it does open, but an update to this review will be provided then.

The Chipotle is the end unit in this newly constructed building. While it appears nearly finished, the other "spaces" are not, the insides of them still not having more than gravel for a floor. The street facing side of the various business spaces have "doors" however they are by the drive thru lane, so they are likely little more than decoration.

For the Chipotle itself, there is outdoor seating and a drive thru that circles the larger building. It is extremely narrow and any larger sized vehicles will likely have significant challenges navigating it without popping the curb . I went in here at the beginning of January because it's a new location that had just opened up. I went to get a bowl and asked the employee for some brown rice. He put an incredible small portion of rice in the bowl. I politely asked him if he could give me some more rice and he barked back at me "you have to pay extra for rice" he then put an incredible small portion of pinto beans in my bowl. I did not say anything and paid for my meal. The customer service was terrible and the employee was incredibly rude when I asked him for a sufficient amount of food. I am not there to beg staff for food and will not stand and argue with them as I am placing my order. I later went back to talk to the manager of the store about what has happened and he told me I was wrong for what I did and that the only excuse he gave was it was a new store. I guess being a new store allows the employees to be rude to the customers and give them extremely small portions of food. If you are going to spend your hard earned money at a store to eat you should get a reasonable amount of food. This management has a lot to learn about how to treat customers, and customer service in general. I would strongly advise to avoid...
