Went there the other night for dinner. It was mildly busy and took a few minutes for our party of two to get seated. Then we waited about 20 minutes for drinks while waitresses kept walking by us. Finally the lady who originally seated us saw we didn’t have drinks yet and came and got drinks for us. Then about 5 minutes later our waitress came and took our order. We knew what we wanted because we had already been sitting there for about 25 minutes at that point. We ordered apps and our dinner. Never got asked if we wanted another drink when ours were clearly gone and sitting at the edge of the table. The appetizer came and was good and hot. Got another drink. Then we sat and waited for about another 25 minutes while our waitress waiting on a large birthday party of about 15 people. She came and served them their food and drinks and a birthday cake and kept buzzing by our table without stopping. Finally got our food, we both got sesame chicken. I bit into mine and it was cold. Not like it hadn’t been cooked but that it had been sitting for awhile. My boyfriend’s was cold as well. Took another 15 minutes for the waitress to come back and check on us. Neither one of us ate because it was cold so our full dinners were sitting on the table. She asked how we were, told her the food was cold. Instead of offering to get us new food she offered to heat it up. We said we’d go home and microwave it ourselves. She gave us a few dollars off the bill. I get catering to a large party that is going to be providing a large tip. But we were completely ignored. Went home and heated up the sesame chicken and it was very questionable chicken. The pieces didn’t look right and were brown/grey. We didn’t want food poisoning so we didn’t eat it. We will...

I went to this place for the first time last week. Upon entering I noticed that this was a very well rounded restaurant for asian cuisine. This is not your typical Chinese takeout place. Their menu was elaborate but not so elaborate that you couldn't understand what they really had to offer. They had an extensive variety of sushi, and hot meals. Along with upscale drinks and dessert choices. I was extremely pleased with the entire atmosphere of this establishment. The waitstaff were very courteous from the time they took our order to the end of the meal. I ordered the chicken lo mein and my wife ordered the chicken - Cantonese style. Both dishes were served to is within about ten minutes of the waitress taking our order. The food arrived and everything tasted great. Drinks were promptly refilled. My wife was very thirsty on this particular outing and they refiled her drink four times! I don't think her drink ever really went completely empty. The portion sizes of the food were considerably large for the price. I was really surprised. And they didn't substitute food quality for portion size. It seems as though alot of places have been giving out large portions of bland food so they save money on ingredients. That is not the case at Chopsticks. Good portion sizes and quality ingredients is what you will get. What more could you ask for and what more could I say about Chopsticks in Forest Hill, MD besides Thank you for the fantastic...

This is not a review I wanted to post, however it must be said.

My wife and I have eaten here at least a hundred times since they opened, wether it be in restaurant or take out. We consistently get sesame chicken (white meat) and general pso. It’s been great… until the most recent 2 orders..

The first bad order was about 3 months ago, the chicken tasted off and slightly rancid, I had to force myself to expel it, I chalked it up to a one off but wasn’t comfortable ordering for a while…

Well we rolled the dice and ordered Thursday evening, low and behold we hit the lottery of bad chicken again, my wife ate the General and I had seseme chicken (white meat), I had one piece of chicken that the texture and taste were very unpleasant, but no rancid smell, well this is now day 2 of diarrhea and stomach pains for my wife and I. Not a medical emergency degree, but very discomforting. And considering chopstixs was the only same food we both ate in the last 3 days, it’s a pretty safe bet that there are some quality control/food handling issues happening here, won’t be ordering from here for a while and we are contacting Harford county health and safety on Monday with the leftover food we have...

We were seated immediately and our sever waited for the rest of our party to show up. The server had such a great sense of humor. She was very attentive which I like. I ordered, egg rolls they were not hot and not that great. I asked for the mustard, because I thought it was like the mustard that usually come in a packet when you order chinese food take out. I was so wrong, I dipped my egg roll and the spice gave me brain freeze (I know that's typically what happens when you have a drink that's really cold but that's the closest description to what I felt) but the spice was good I just did too much at one time because I was not expecting it to be that spicy. I also ordered shrimp tempura which was good and I got the bay roll it was pretty good as well. My friend ordered crabmeat fried rice and paid an upcharge for them to add shrimp. We were not sure about it but it was better than expected. It was good, there were about 5 shrimps added and the charge was anout $4. I also got the plum wine, it was good! The atmosphere was nice. We sat around talking for quite sometime once we were done eating. Overall it was pretty cool but egg rolls from here are a no for me.

We always enjoyed dim sum and food at their Rosedale location, unfortunately they were closed during pandemic and no sign of re-open again. Since Forest Hill location has the same owner, we drove extra miles there hoping to have the tasty dim sum again, they did mention dim sum on their website. We were told that they do not serve dim sum, so we tried their lunches, Lo Mein was okay, the sushi with tuna was apparently not fresh, the eel was tasteless, we just put lots of wasabi. The food experience was so disappointed that we just wanted to finish the food and leave asap, although the staff were friendly and the overall restaurant environment was nice

First time I went to this place. Pleasant surprise. Very nicely decorated. Fish ponds are Soo relaxing. Nice clean facility. The staff was very friendly and very fast. I ordered egg drop soup and Kung Pao chicken. The soup was delicious, it had a few pieces of corn and even chicken, more chicken. It was a nice twist. The Kung Pao was awesome too. Nice fresh vegetables and the fried rice nice. This is my new go-to for Chinese food. I was surprised to find a nice little bag of chow mein noodles in my take out bag along with my fortune cookie, nice touch, the noodles are great dipped in hot mustard.
