I'm sorry I neglected to take pics. This was my second visit here, but let me just say that I have a new found appreciation for this restaurant. The chips and salsa were very good. The first round is free, additional rounds are $2.50 (fair). I love traditional Margaritas on the rocks with salt. And I like it with rail liquor, IMHO. Their house Margarita was delicious... I had 2. I just don't want the straw in my Margarita because then you don't get the salt.
Now, I almost always get enchiladas when I go to a Mexican place. This time I tried something different, and I am SO glad I did. M71 SHRIMP & SCALLOPS "TILAPIA PLANCHA." Oh my God, this was phenomenal. Made with sautéed onions, tomatoes, and their "echo dip" served on a hot iron skillet. You get your choice of 2 sides. The salad crema was ok. But, miixing my entree with the mexican rice was crazy delicious (next time I'll order 2 servings of the mexican rice). My mouth is watering as I write this almost 18 hours later...maybe I need to place another order tonight! It comes with flour or corn tortillas (I didn't eat the tortillas as the rice provided the perfect texture and carb accompaniment).
The tilapia was moist, flaky, and perfectly seasoned. The scallops and shrimp were expertly grilled.
This may be one of the most expensive entrees at this restaurant But if it's within your budget, and you like seafood, it's well worth the expense.
This restaurant, and in particular the M71 SHRIMP & SCALLOPS "TILAPIA PLANCHA, is HIGHLY recommended. You must try it... soon!
Oh... wife and friends had Chimi (chicken) and taco salad. They all really liked their meals. But mine...

It still took ten minutes for the server to get our drink order, so we took the chance to place our meal order at the same time since we were there on a lunch break. There was never any mention of any problems or delays. We asked for more salsa for our chips while we waited (both were pretty good). Cut to forty minutes later...drinks ran out, still no more salsa, chips are gone, no food in sight or visit from our waiter. My husband went up to request the food order be changed to go so I might have a chance of eating some on the ride back to work. At this point, the waiter says that they were really busy before, hence the delay. Ten minutes after that, the waiter finally brings out the food packed to go and we hand him the credit card so we can pay and leave before he disappears again, and he tells us that it will take awhile because the credit card machine has been running very slow all day and that has been slowing down the restaurant as well. These things would have been helpful to know before we were seated. We also found that the guacamole and sour cream I asked for didn't make it to the dish. An apology was given, but not even a single drink was copped for a meal that is sitting in my refrigerator. My husband got a chance to eat his and wasn't impressed. Even if it was a fluke, the lack of service in this case was more than enough to ensure we will...
Read more2 youngins working there .... they were more worried about being on their phones than running a restaurant. The girl waitress seemed like she didn't understand English at. The male seemed like the owner's son Couldn't get off his phone... today's youth. This was the kicker for me! I had their biggest burrito it was on the lunch side only. I asked if I could get that she said yes. My cousin got steak fajitas...simple. Got the bill I was blown away...I was upchared 4.00 to get that thing. It had very little pico de gallo on it asked for some more ....4.00 charge i asked which sauce i wanted red or green i said i would try some of both. 2.99 charge. And the less than golf ball cups of sour cream got 3. 2.00 each. Was even charged for the chips and salsa that they brought out.....never seen that it's usually complimentary. All in all $66.39 for 2 people ....crazy that was with 1 water and 1 sweet tea. I guess we were in Beverly Hills. It was pretty inside very clean. Did not look like a Mexican restaurant at all. The food was good as you would expect it to be . I wouldn't go back here because of all the upcharges... I would try...
