I recently attended an event here at Columbus Gardens with many friends. While looking forward to this once a year gathering, I couldn’t have been more disappointed! We had to wait over 45 minutes to be served our entree... after our salad had already been eaten. When the entree finally came out, not only was it cold but the beef was dry and the thick slab of pork, if that’s what you would call it, was served with a butter knife to cut ! I guess it would have been doable if the the plate it was on was sized appropriately, but when attempting to cut said chop it slid off onto the table. Did I mention that I received 3 small baby carrots as my vegetable... talk about chintzy ! Most of us could not eat this non palatable food, and more was wasted than eaten.
Since the timing on the dinner was a delayed process, all that we had planned as an organization was pushed back.... Not our fault ! Would you believe that they shut down the bar at 5:00 sharp, and started to clear off our tables during our presentations. This was incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate. I will never refer this hall/caterer, not ever to my enemy. I suggest if you are considering it.... DONT !

I can never be more grateful to the staff at Columbia Gardens for helping me through this very , very difficult time …not only are the gardens probably the most beautiful I’ve ever seen , the staff is also a beautiful staff that is not only professional but caring . Katherine took my hand and guided me through what needed to be done.. I met others on the staff such as Daun ,the president , and others who are also professional and caring …it is important to say that the folks at Columbia Gardens go beyond caring when they’re trying to help you and doing everything they can to provide the services that you need and making you feel so special and that they are there to help you through every step… As I said , I will be eternally grateful… I go back to visit often and I’m always glad to see Katherine and the rest of the staff because I know they remember me and I know that they wanted to do anything and everything that they could to help me and will continue to do so and that they care about...
Read moreMy organization have had at least 6 consecutive crabfeast with each bill totalling upwards to $16,000, and the GM Michael had an issue with my organization asking for our $500 deposit back during the height of the Pandemic. They offered refunds if you were willing to wait at least 6 months for your money and we patiently waited only for them to not respond to my emails. I called twice to follow up on our refund and emails, only for Michael to say that he won't work with us again if he gives us our money. We will not recommend them, and management is very unprofessional.
