My fiancé and I came for Valentine's Day dinner. Let's just say the experience was horrible. Walking in I had to wait 30 minutes to be seated even with a reservation the manager was very transparent that they didn't have enough "space" for everyone and there would be a wait. On top of our reservation time. After being seated the server brought us water and literally never came back. Walked past us and served both tables on either side of us but didn't speak to us even once after the water was dropped off. We tried to grab her attention multiple times and we're blatantly ignored (made eye contact and then she looked immediately away) told the manager to get her attention and she still didn't come over to us. I’ve never had a server look up to the ceiling just to ignore making eye contact. I was luckily able to go on opentable and get a reservation elsewhere but I can guarantee that I will never come back. I hate to make it about race but we were one of 2 black couples there and watched the other couple be ignored too. This was the most horrible experience I have ever had at an establishment. Literally my first experience like this in my life. It’s sad because the couple next to us (none black) even noticed the she was ignoring intentionally....
Read moreMy husband and I went to this restaurant after a long day. We put in our order over the phone and the order was read back to us for verification. Once we arrived at the restaurant we were given the news that they were out of crab so I couldn’t get my soup. No worries, I put in an order for chicken wings. We had already ordered two orders, so my add on made it a total of 3. Well when we get back to our room we realized we only had one order of wings and not 3. My husband went back to the restaurant after having called to advise of the error. When he arrived they only had 1 order waiting for him. They advised my husband they only received an order for 2 wings, not 3. So what happened to the order for not having the soup? Then my husband was advised that he was not charged for the 3rd order, no problem, we still would like the wings. They refused to make them because their kitchen was about to close. POOR....
Read moreIt is unfortunate that I am writing this review because the architecture in corella was quite nice. Unfortunately one employee, whom I didn’t get the name of, was extremely rude and discriminatory towards us. First, he was passive aggressive in asking whether we were ordering food or not and attempted to kick us out on a whim, after we decided to not order food, when at least 10 other patrons in the building at the time had no food at their table. The ONLY difference between them and us? They were white adults and we are POC students. We then continued to order food, and not even 1 hour after the order was placed, we got kicked out of the establishment. There was a group right next to us who hadn’t ordered food since we had gotten there, at least for an hour and a half. This is such dissapointing behavior to see and it’s shocking to see how discrimination plays out in day...
