My visit to Caroline Freeland Urban Park was a real hit for our little ones—my 4-year-old absolutely loved the slides, while the 18-month-old couldn’t get enough of the swings. The playground is thoughtfully designed, fully enclosed for safety, and includes separate play structures that cater to both toddlers and older preschoolers   .
The park itself was recently renovated, offering smooth, accessible pathways, new bench swings, and ample seating areas—great for parents who want to relax while keeping an eye on their kiddos  . Being nestled downtown, it’s also super convenient, close to the library and dining spots—perfect for combining errands or outings in one trip  .
