Crofton Depot Carryout — Restaurant in Maryland

Went inside for the first time, and ordered a steak and cheese and fries and bought a bottle of water. I choose to eat there because I have a pick up to do later in the AM. When my food was brought to me, what I got was not what I ordered. Not sure how she got grilled chicken sandwich from steak and cheese. So I waited a few minutes and finally walked back up to the counter. Explained to the lady who took my order that I ordered a steak and cheese, not what she brought. She looked at me confused. So I said like 3 more times. She said nothing back to me. So I went back ate my fries and left. She said oh we are making your sandwich now. Would have been nice to had it when I ordered it. I'm really not sure what these references talking about "big subs" are. A "big" sub is at least a 12" roll, these are 6" at best, which makes it a half, and that's considered a large on the menu. My roast beef was off lesser quality than a generic grocery store brand. Definitely over-processed and extremely salty. I know it's a processed meat, but still. The rolls are out of a bag, definitely not fresh, but not that bad. The other condiments were acceptable, though I prefer shredded lettuce over whole leaves. I have seen this place many times while taking our dog to get cleaned, but have finally ordered from there the first time this weekend. We got a few different breakfast items: Sausage/Egg/cheese croissant sandwich, egg and cheese croissant, French toast, and the western omelette. Tell your family, tell your friends - everything was delicious. The inside is tidy and a classic deli setup with a few tables you can sit at.
