Ordering went well, pizza tracker was nice, I left to pick up the carryout when the pizza started to bake according to the tracker. When I arrived I saw that my order was ready along with 5 other orders on the 'order board'. I paid for my pizzas and was told it would be a minute. It was very busy, I saw 4 employees walk in or out of the store in less than 15 minutes, only one of them had a pizza carry case. He returned with the empty carry case before I was even called. And that was the problem. I was never called. Boxed pizzas were piling up on the shelf but no employee would look at them for your order unless you asked (and they were not on the phone). The three people in front of me on the order board all had to ask for their order. They all seemed as annoyed as I was and all of them were waiting when I arrived. I was at the store almost 16 minutes when I expected to be there for 5. I hope Dominos will come up with a system, possibly using a yellow highlighter, to mark the labels for carry out orders and when whoever boxes the pizzas up, yells out the order name for pickup and then hands it to a waiting customer. If the order is not picked up right then, it goes to the shelf and the person delivering it to the shelf would check for other pickup orders on the shelf and call those out (or just ask the customer(s) waiting) and see if there order is on the shelf and give it to them if the order is boxed up and ready to go. Additionally, one man came in, asked for his carry out order, and told the employee who handed him the pizza that he had already paid for it. I never saw a payment, he might have paid on-line; but I never got a receipt and I had to tell the employee that I had paid for for my order also. Receipts should be given to the customer and maybe the order status board should reflect that the order has been paid for. On a light hearted note, I did get to hear at length a dominos employee speak on the phone to a customer who did not understand that a vegetarian pizza does not have any meat on it (and he got to repeat this several times as well as what actually came on the pizza). In the end, the person ordered a half vegetarian half cheese pizza - I guessing just in case the veggie side had...
Read moreIt's a chain. Like at any other, the quality you receive (both in terms of food and of service) will depend entirely on which employees are involved in your order. The best advice I can give there is, if you're happy with your ordering experience then note down the time & day of the week and try to time your next order similarly.
Keep in mind that this location is typically very busy, so if you order during peak times you may be in for a lengthy wait before your food is ready (regardless of what the online order tracker tells you). Also be aware that, again like most chains, the best deals will be available only if you order online or via their app; if you must order over the phone or in person, be sure to ask what the current specials are. Finally, it's a good idea to check your order before you leave the store (or before your delivery driver leaves your house)--many of the other reviewers complaining of incorrect or incomplete orders were probably just victims of being handed the wrong box(es) during a dinner rush, in which case a correction can easily (and quickly) be made if pointed out promptly.
At its best, this Domino's location will nail down 5 stars across the board. At its worst, you'll wish you could rate it 0 stars. That's just the nature of the game when most of the staff is working for...
Read moreThe good news is, they got our order right and it tasted as Dominos should.
The bad news, the service, delivery and interactions with the staff was terrible.
We specifically chose Dominos do too the carside delivery option that Dominos advertises to limit exposure during the pandemic.
We placed our order online and arrived at the store when the piazza was ready. After following all off the instructions on the Dominos pizza tracker, our order was not brought to our car. We waited 20 minutes and tried calling the store 5 times, but they did not answer the phone.
I finally went inside the store, the thing I was trying to avoid, to ask about my food and was immediately and rudely told they didn't have my order. I indicated I ordered and paid through the website and showed it on my phone. This employee continued to act annoyed that I was looking for an order I had paid for, but now he at least asked for the name on the order to see if it was on the shelf. Low and behold, it was and so he brought it to the counter and not so gently set it down saying he doesn't know how carside delivery works.
Rude, untrained employees who won't take 3 seconds of effort to hand you the food located behind the counter that you have already paid for and waited nearly a half hour to receive is not a great...
