Donut Connection — Restaurant in Maryland

Yall need a new intercom and mic system. There was clearly a very large miscommunication due to it because our whole order (which was pretty simple) was wrong. We got to the window and my husband was handed the wrong doughnut.. he only wanted one but at least the lady working was very kind and fixed it for him. Then as we were heading down the road getting ready to eat what we thought were two everything bagels with extra cream cheese we found two very plane and barely toasted bagels with hardly any cream cheese at all. And the latte with just a little sugar was a latte with a lotta sugar... there was no language barrier and we all understood each other perfectly well at the window.. my husband even asked if he should just order at the window because the intercom was such junk. I pretty much only go here out of convenience. It's the only place open in the morning when I go to work, and need to grab something on my way in. One big positive is the staff is always friendly. The food on the other hand, I feel is not that great. It's good, but if there was anything else that close to my house and was open as early as they are, I'd probably go there. The mocha tastes like regular coffee with chocolate syrup in it, and my orders usually take a long time to come out. Sometimes the orders are messed up, and one time the guy at the window straight forgot what I ordered after I had sat there for almost 10 minutes. I love to give nothing but 5 stars but this one gets a 4/5 for me and I'll explain why. I went there late last night and had some trouble understanding who was taking my order. Either the broadcast system had issues or she lacked speaking clearly and with diction, I won't claim either one. The menu for drive thru (YES I could just go inside but it was dark out and there were some weird characters outside) did not list ANY of the flavors of ice cream. I had to guess at what they had, which they had what I wanted (Yay!). The banana split I got was fantastic (and customized!) and that's why I gave this 4 stars.
