The two stars are for the employees being friendly. The restaurant had about a total of 6 people there. It took 15 minutes for me and my 3 year old to be seated. But i waited patiently. Our server was Brooke. She also was very friendly. The food was clearly microwaved as the plates were hot and the fries were so gross and stale so i knew they were just reheated. Who doesn’t know when fries are reheated. Anyways, she took a while to get our order. And after that, i didnt see her for about all of our dining experience. There was another waitress who was very kind and running around taking care of mostly everyone. Luckily, she helped get me a refill and fresh fries. At one point i found our waitress just in the bathroom. After we got done eating my 3 year old kept saying she wanted ice cream, and eventually that turned into her just wanting to leave, i also felt the same. I had to get up to go get brooke to just get the ice cream. I was visibly frustrated. And rather than apologize and act like she cared about her job, she tried to throw that frustration back to me. Not sure why girl, you were just chillin lol. Everything was sticky. The food was okay. Luckily my daughter was happy to get her icecream which truly is the only reason i would come to friendlys. Do better...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst experience from beginning to end. My husband and I, along with our 2 year old son and baby daughter, thought we'd have a nice family dinner out. We clearly chose the wrong restaurant. We park, only to find no ramp onto the walkway. When we go inside, employees are leaning up against the wall twiddling their thumbs. After being seated, we weren't given silverware or crayons for our son, but the next table to get seated with teenagers was. It took nearly 15 minutes for someone to even take our drink order. We were only 1 of 3 tables actually seated. After that, the waitress disappeared, and we had to go to the front to ASK for crayons and silverware. The waitress was slow, entirely uninterested her job, and came across as bored. Again, she disappeared. When the food finally came out, our toddlers plate was piping hot and wouls have burned him had we not scooped it away quickly. When we finally got the check, it didn't come with a pen so we had to sign it with a crayon. On the way out, while struggling with the stroller and the door, employees watched and leaned rather than helped. It was two elderly women coming into the restaurant who jumped to assist. We do not in any way, shape, or form...
Read moreWe've been going to this Friendly's for years. Food is always good and the ice cream is usually delicious. Usually. We order with the app and if I can offer anyone a tip, make sure you pay VERY close attention when ordering.
First time this has ever happened, but I ordered a large peanut butter cup sundae with 3 scoops of vanilla. Done this many times, never had an issue. I got my sundae back today only to discover some form of glitch occurred in the app because it has my sundae listed as excluding everything but vanilla ice cream. The container was just filled with vanilla ice cream and it was too late to address the issue because this was a takeout order.
I'll eat this one because it's on me for not double checking the order (although I will say there is nothing in my online receipt reflecting that everything that made it a sundae was being excluded). However, I cannot help but wonder why no employee called to verify that item was correct. Vanilla ice cream is an ingredient of a sundae, no different than bread is an ingredient of a sandwich. If I ordered a sandwich and an online order said to exclude everything but the bread, I'd be suspicious if I were preparing the order. A courtesy call would have prevented...
