I have dined at this restaurant a few times with previous positive experiences, but I am prompted now to write a less-favorable review, as my last two visits have been more disappointing. The food is good but the service has suffered. Water glasses aren't refilled, the buffet isn't replenished quickly and often goes low on items, naan is slow to come to the table and isn't offered to be refilled when the basket is empty. But my visit that caused me to downgrade my current review came on Mother's Day. Of course this was a busier day at the restaurant (understandable) but no more so than any other establishment. In fact, I feel this restaurant was quite less chaotic than most others on a day like Mother's Day. We visited at an off-peak time (2 PM). At the meal's end, my spouse was offered the check and when he was signing the card receipt, he no sooner clicked the pen closed and our table was curtly and immediately asked to leave to make room for another party. I wasn't allowed to finish my tea or simply remain seated for a moment to finish dining. Did I want another bite of rice off my plate?... did I want another sip of water?... This is of no import, apparently, to Grace of India. We were rudely being pushed out the door without being asked, without courtesy, a "please" or even a smile. I am not a table loiterer nor do I/we linger inappropriately after a meal. I've never been asked to leave a table before by any restaurant. Certainly no such request without a bit of apology or politeness. DISAPPOINTING and rude! The diners who we were asked to vacate for had just entered the restaurant. Certainly on a busy restaurant day they could have been asked politely to wait just a moment while we were given a courteous minute to finish our experience. This really detracted from my opinion of this establishment and I don't plan to return...
Read moreI'm extremely disappointed with my recent takeout experience at Grace of India on Valentine's Day. Despite ordering ahead of time and being told that my food would be ready for pickup by 8 PM, I was in for a rude shock when I arrived at the restaurant.
Upon arrival, I was informed that there were over 20 orders ahead of mine, and that it would take at least 40 minutes for my food to be ready. The restaurant was overcrowded, and the staff seemed overwhelmed with the demand.
What was even more frustrating was that the staff refused to agree to text me when my food was ready. Instead, I had to repeatedly go inside to check on the status of my order. This was not only inconvenient but also added to the overall frustration of the experience.
To make matters worse, the food was very average compared to other days. I've had the pleasure of enjoying delicious meals at Grace of India before, but this time, the dishes lacked the usual flavor and finesse. It was a letdown, especially considering the long wait.
Given the circumstances, I expected the staff to be more apologetic and accommodating. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
While I have had positive experiences with Grace of India in the past, this Valentine's Day takeout debacle was a major letdown. Until they improve their takeout process, communication, and food consistency, I would caution others against ordering takeout from this restaurant, especially...

I want to give negative rating but no option for that. So giving 1 rating
Please avoid at all cost to visit this restaurant, pathetically service , bad taste of food. will die starving but will never eat this restaurant food, even they give money to eat/taste.
we went 3 families and they prefer we share the plates, not providing individual dishes to each person.
very bad food, feel like frozen food warm 2-3 times before serve us. We couldn't even finish what we ordered in-spite of being extremely hungry.
very expensive onion, $4 for 3-4 slice of onion. if we count as per their charges then 1 onion = $12
very beautiful interior but we can't eat that.
In conclusion, I strongly advise potential diners to steer clear of grace of india unless they are prepared to endure rude and disrespectful treatment from the staff. There are countless other dining options available in the area where one can enjoy delicious food without sacrificing basic courtesy...
