Grille No. 13 — Restaurant in Maryland

This is a review of their catering services. My company catered Grill No 13 to do a appreciation luncheon cookout. It was horrible. From Gray burger patties, curdled mac and cheese, some of the worst coleslaw you could potentially ever produce. How do you screw up coleslaw. I'm sure they were the lowest bitter. But when you provide Sam's club branded chips Shasta cola, that's right fake cola, miniature water bottles. I don't get it. A lot of coworkers we're passing around pepto and tums because of the discomfort in the abdominal section after consuming this so-called food.

There was a white woman who was very sassy. And rude that works for this company.

Normally a company will take a catering job, sure to make extra income but also sell their brand. The only thing they sold hundreds of people now will avoid this place.

The food was clearly prepared hours ago, it was not kept at any warm temperature. And then placed outside in a chafing tray that did not reheat, does precooked our old food.

Let me go back to the burger patties, the lowest possible quality you can find anywhere. Gritty, my first bite got a piece of gristle, and I spit it...

Working with Katie and the Grille13 team was such a wonderful experience for our June 2025 wedding! From the very beginning, Katie was incredibly punctual, responsive, and so easy to communicate with. She took the time to understand our vision, budget, and dietary restrictions, and worked closely with us to create a menu that fit perfectly.

The day of the wedding, everything ran seamlessly. The Grille13 staff was not only professional but genuinely kind and attentive to every detail—our guests are still raving about how friendly and efficient the team was! And the food… absolutely amazing. Every dish came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

What really stood out was how accommodating Katie was throughout the process. She offered helpful suggestions, stayed within our budget, and made sure that even our guests with dietary restrictions felt included and cared for. It made all the difference.

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better catering experience. If you’re considering Grille13 for your event, do it—you’ll be in great hands with Katie and her incredible team!

I haven’t had everything on the menu, but what I have had has been on point. So far, my favorites are the Reuben and the Chicken Monterey sandwich. I love this carry-out location. Whenever I go there, they treat me like family. If you don’t feel like cooking, they even offer various family meals or they will cater your event. They also have a mouth-watering selection of cakes, cheesecakes and cake pops through their Sugar Lips Cakery. The slices a large and are reasonably priced. You can get a whole cake, but I think you have to order those 48 hours in advance. The “What’s Up Doc” and the “Peanut Butter Bliss” are my personal favs…so far.
