Tastee Chicken — Restaurant in Waldorf

The food was mediocre at best and they need more drink options. I got fried chicken and not Mexican food so maybe the Mexican food is better. Aside from the food itself the atmosphere could have been better. It did not feel clean at all. It looked like patch jobs was keeping the place together. It needs a serious DEEP cleaning and disinfecting.

The biggest annoyance was the service. There was a lady and a man neither spoke good English which if you are going to service English speaking people it may be a good idea to have someone fluent taking orders. Also, the lady had an attitude and seemed like she didn't want to be bothered which is unacceptable. Perhaps they should invest in getting someone just to take orders so the cashier/order taker isn't also cooking and running back and forth exhausting themselves...causing them to have an attitude.

The tall guy I will say was nicer and he appeared to care more about doing a good job and assisting customers quickly. But the lady...she needs to stay in the back cooking. They were also...

The food is pretty good. My husband and I both ordered chicken cesar salads and when I went to pick up, AFTER I paid $8 each, the woman comes to the front with little containers of ranch and italian and tells me they were out of cesar. Why not tell me that before you swipe my card and charge me for something i wasn't going to receive? The restaurant is poorly lit and has a strong smell of grease...almost to the point where it makes you nausceous if you are in there too long. While watching them cook the chicken on the grill, I saw them use the same flipper for the raw chicken they had just placed on, to flip the cooked. Their only saving grace is their plaintains. $2 for a side order and they are really tasty but they are loaded with oil from the fryer because they aren't drained well, and I found a piece of plastic in my order from yesterday, alongside bits of other food from the fryer. It's your typical hole in the wall place, but the food is good if you don't feel like cooking and want to pick up something...

Stopped by to try it.. Now I'm hooked So I started eating here 5 years ago today is I don't know it's August 2022 and the food is still delicious OMG it's fresh made to order every time I love this place I ate there my whole pregnancy 2019 it's just a good place and if I have to wait that's fine because I know it's going to be good it is August 1st 2023 and the food is still amazing and delicious they have Berea tacos that are the best in Maryland////// Today is January the 24th 2024 and I'm still a loyal customer and the food is still amazing even though I moved away I still come back every now and then.
