Today at Hispa Restaurant, I didn’t just have a meal — I experienced a celebration of culture, flavor, and heart.

The nachos were perfectly crisp, layered with the freshest ingredients. The shrimp ceviche sparkled with brightness, refreshing and full of life. And the burrito — tender chicken wrapped in a warm, soft tortilla, seasoned with spices and love — was simply unforgettable.

Though my Spanish is limited, aunque no hablo español muy bien, the staff welcomed me with patience, warmth, and true kindness. Me escucharon, me entendieron, y me animaron a practicar. At Hispa, language isn’t a barrier — it’s a bridge built with heart.

The food, the people, the spirit — everything made me feel at home.

The best Mexican / Latino restaurant in the Annapolis area. Is not commercial and everything is fresh. I almost cry when they brought my soup with "hand made tortillas". OMG the best¡ you know the food is authentic when they serve you hand made tortillas and the waiter/waitress speak very bad English..just like me lol....and they are watching telenovelas and of course fútbol lol.

This is not a super fancy expensive restaurant but the food is great, the place is always clean and the people is very respectful and friendly :)

They dont only have "Mexican Food", in fact is not a mexican restaurant, is a latino restaurant and therefore they offer all kind of home made style food from all over Latin America. If you can tolerate spicy food then ask for their amzing shrimp ceviche with Cerveza...

We've driven by here a number of times but never stopped inside until this past Father's Day. What an absolute treat. Delicious Latin food that is flavorful but doesn't blow you away with spiciness, unless you want it that is. Louisa took great care of us and got us started with excellent chips and salsa and margaritas the size of small fish bowels. Great fajitas tacos and quesadillas too - and no complaints from the kids. Even the desserts were really good. We have severe gluten allergies in our family and no one felt ill.
