I’m sorry to write this review, but I’m hoping for a miracle in that the owners or management will come upon it and take note. My husband and I have been faithful patrons of the Bel Air location for over a decade. Even after moving, we would always make a point to come here on visits.
Unfortunately, upon returning to the area a little bit ago, we noticed the quality of most items has taken a significant down turn. Pizzas are often burnt or sometimes overloaded with cheese, they give one less meatball or sausage while raising the prices multiple dollars, and they cover all their pastas in such an obscene amount of mozzarella that it’s literally just flushing money down the toilet since it goes in the trash. Their previously generous portions have turned into a $14 meal of FOUR cheese shells that don’t even remotely fill you.
We were the most loyal, diehard Sensations fans that sing their praises to everyone and visited them multiple times a week. Not any more. Now we only order pizza and nothing else because we can’t even remotely justify the prices for the pile of sauce and mozz we get in return. I’ve even thought of just adding my own $3 box of pasta to the sauce to make it somewhat worth it. Whoever has taken over has turned this wonderful restaurant where they knew our names and my husband’s order into a total disaster. I even ordered Doordash a couple times and it was even worse…nuked mozz sticks? Gross. It’s just one too many things- if you took a meatball away but kept the old prices, or gave less mozz on the pasta, then ok, I get it times aren’t great. But to do all of this and expect established customers to keep coming back, forget it. RIP old...
Read moreBest pie in Md hands down... Let me just start by saying I grew up in the Jersey and the New York area and any one from here grew up on exellent Italian and Greek food... Considering most establishments are greek or italian owned, and 70% of the food you grow up eating is Italian. And you also understand if you have ever spent time in any other state than NJ or NY how hard it is to find a lagit slice of pizza. Maryland is like a desert wasteland, the mojave dessert for good Italian especially when it comes to a lagit pie(pizza) or slice(piece of pizza).
If you want a lagit slice or pie Italian sensations is the only place to go. Ive lived in Md now for 10 years and have gave up on pizza in this state. Then I found Italian Sensations. I feel like I can get a lagit slice now without driving to south jersey. There the real deal.
If your the typical marylander and you think a thicker baltimore dominoes type (so so) hybrid is good pizza dont waste your time coming here because you have no idea what a good slice is. If you want the real deal this is your spot. Some of you will understand exactlly what im saying and the ones that dont please call dominoes, or papa johns or the one thats ehhhh just ok or so so. Or stick to crabcakes cause knowing a good pie is not your deal. You werent cut out for it.
For all my normal people, those of you that enjoy and know what a lagit pie is. I suggest you try The chicken bruschetta... Now go try a slice.

Read moreWent here for lunch, the young lady at the front was very nice. She is the only reason I gave one star if Google would let me I would give zero stars. This place is terrible. I got the cheesesteak sub, the bread was cold and the nest was very low quality it had alot of those fatty grizzled strings in it. The cheese was melted just on the top of the meat so you only got cheese in your bite if you literally bit the entire sub, which nobody does. It wasn't melted all throughout the sub like most places. My husband got a chicken parm sub and the "chicken" used to make it was very much processed like those grilled chicken strips made by tyson you buy at the store. The sauce was homemade, which it's supposed to be a Italian place so I would hope so. We also gotthe chicken strip and fries. The "chicken strips" were the processed it was spongy and disgusting. The fries tasted like old burned oil that needed changed a week ago. The bag of chips served with your subs was the best part. If they are going to charge you the prices they do they need to make the food quality worth the price. I could buy a bag of frozen tyson chicken strips from the grocery store foe the same price for the 3 they gave you with a meal and get a entire bag of them. When you come to a restaurant you expect to get actual chicken not processed frozen shit tenders. I can't say for anything else they serve but for the absolute basics it was trash. So I can imagine the rest of the food is trash. Would never come here again. Kuddos to the young lady working the register. She was nice and friendly and came out to clean the tables as soon as...
