Great park. Many geese, a good looking lake and a great flowing stream for wading in especially with dogs to cool off even though the park is mostly shaded with trees. Have fun ! We take our Pomeranian there all the time. We love it and so does he. The terrain is flat asphalt with no tripping hazards. The stream is a must stop for Foxy. That and he has to chase a goose or two. After all, he thinks it's his lake so he says, "Must Make Fly" "Must Make Fly". Of course, he never catches one but don't tell him that. Anyway, this park is great to take the family to. There are two stone grills and four or five Picnic tables in shaded area. Parents can see all of the asphalted walking path from Picnic tables. Read moreA really nice place for a walk however the path is not the smoothest-quite humpy and bumpy in spots. The pond is beautiful and there are a good number of different waterfowl but you are not supposed to feed them (posted signage). When I was there there were quite a few kids with fishing poles and all of them were having luck catching fish! Read moreMy husband and I used to walk our 19 yr old son around this pond when he was little, then added our daughter to the family and did the same, then added the youngest son and did the same! Such a peaceful walk! Grateful that people use the trash cans here! This little spot is kept nice and clean. Lots of ducks and geese. Rockfield playground is next to it. I recommend a trip to the playground with the kids, finiahed up with a walk around the water, makes for relaxation for the kiddos...
