Johnny Boy Carryout — Restaurant in Maryland

I had a really bad experience my first time coming there. The lady at the register had a very negative attitude and was unprofessional. First of all, she overcharged me. She billed me for a slab of ribs despite that I asked for a pound, but I didn't make a big fuss, because I figured that she may have misheard me. They tried to pass off another dis-satisfied customer's food as my order after I waited over an hour and a half for my order at the meat slicing station.

I love patronizing black businesses; however, there is a level of professionalism and respect that seek when I go to any establishment, and I did not receive that level of service at Johnny Boy Carryout.

I would not go there again, nor would I encourage anyone to do go there. The workers show favoritism to patrons who they have a good relationship with while other paying patrons have to wait extensive times standing.

Customer service matters, but if anyone is looking forward to be treated with good service, do not patron this...

I haven't been here since the football season ended last December; however, wanting to continue the tradition, I decided to get some ribs, (Jonny Boy's)

when I pulled up, one of the workers was outside with his buddy smoking weed, as I order my food, dude came in didn't wash his hands and proceeded to cut up my ribs, shaking my head I told them NOT!! to give me those old looking ribs, but when I got home, that's what I had, 2 slabs of OLD Ribs, $67.25 wasted

they tasted like chewy meat!!!, bone was broken on the end so you know they were old

don't know if it's under new management, I did notice they finally started using a POS machine, so you don't need to have cash on you when you go to the hood, I wish I would've used my credit card; I would have back charged all of the Mess!!

I have been going here for a few years but what i saw tonight was horrific i noticed a large number of stray cats hanging at the front door I did not think much about it while my friend made 🐱 jokes but low and behold the cook came out petted the cats and started to feed them fiod from behind the counter and low and behold she went right back inside not washing her hands and started ti make customers food you can tell that she does this offten because as she approched the door to come outside the cats went wild nowing that dinner is on the way ....so if you see cats when you go here think twice because your Mince Sandwich just my be a CATMINCE SANDWICH WITH FUR TOPING JUST A THOUGHT GO THEIR BUT BE AWARE AND WATCH OUT FOR THE CATS....YOU MAYBE THEIR NEXT...
