Horrible experience on 6/5/24. I was sitting on the completely empty second floor for a while just journaling and minding my own business when a librarian came up to ask me if I was meeting a child there. I was so confused and said no…she told me I cant be there. Mind blowing. The entire floor was empty not even any librarians were there. I said no I’m not going anywhere thanks and suddenly now the head librarian Yolanda Harvin shows up with the same insistence that I move. Why do I have to move? “BeCauSE iT’s a RuLe!!” I invited them to leave me alone but instead the head librarian Yolanda Harvin called the cops on me. Controlling and unwelcoming. Yesterday, I believe they were having storytime for babies on the 2nd floor, but as I sat on the first floor, it was still pin drop quiet.
