Absolutely horrendous experience! Beware of the food you're purchasing. I bought a few tacos on a long trip home from the beach. I was told to wait by the side for a few minutes. When the employee for Taco Bell came w the food he has accidentally forgotten an item so he went back in while I reached in to hand the tacos to my kids. First, they were incredibly cold as if they had been frozen and not completely thawed out. I realized that's probably what is done and figured it was a lesson learned about fast food. We were hungry so i kept going. However, just as i was about to bite into my own taco i saw a huge Beatle stuck inside the taco i was about to bite into. It freaked me out as i was not expecting beatle tacos and tossed it back into the bag. The young employee came out soon after and i explained what happened. He took the bag back inside and we waited another 15 min. By this time we had been waiting about 20 min total for our food. So i decided I would just request refund since I was doubtful I would actually eat another taco at that point. I waited some more and eventually drive back through the drive through. I explained to the employee that i was the person who had found a huge bug in her taco and wanted a refund. When I finally made it through to the second window i had to explain to two employees including the young man who took my Beatle taco away. He had forgotten and neither employee had told their boss. The manage comes to the window and seemed annoyed and says " so you want a refund hmmm?" And i said Yes. His tone and his manner of speaking was incredibly rude. When I explained the situation he mocked me and kept saying , " so it was a scicada then." I told him, No it was not a scicada multiple times. Yet, he continued to bring it up. Finally he gave me a refund without any acknowledgement of what occurred or time wasted. I stopped and pointed out that i didn't care about the food being cold but snacking on a huge Beatle was not ok and that his attitude and mocking was not professional. I also pointed out that a simple apology goes a long way.
Please beware of this place. I won't...
Read moreWhen I first approached the colorful stripe building I was eager to try KFC. I've heard it was one of America's classic Fried Chicken fast food chains. However, when I opened the door, I was greeted by a blob of customers, crowding the pickup and orde register. The person taking orders, was gone. Meanwhile, I looked at the back as a worker man is frantically breading fry chicken. My mind knew something was wrong. As I waited longer for my ASAP pickup order, I noticed many customers were getting their orders incorrect. Other customers were waiting nearly half an hour, if not longer for their orders. I could sense the uneasiness, the frustration, and agitation in the crowd. There wasn't a single SMILE on anyone's face. One customer who waited a while, finally got their order "corrected", only to recieve wrong type of wings. However, pent up with the long wait time, he decided to move on. At this point I and a friend were getting concerned. We've been waiting for half an hour for an order of just a chicken sandwich, some sauce, and a biscuit. It wasn't like we were ordering a family meal. Eveuntally, I noticed a pile of finished orders being stacked behind the the counter, as if to tempt the customers there order is ready, but o.t of there reach. I was confused why so many compelted orders were being stacked on the counter, but not being handed to the many customers? I'm very dissapointed in the manager for having this KFC so understaff. Not only does this hurt the customer expereince but creates unecessary stress for the worker. When I finally got my chicken sandwich, It tasted alright, crispy, hot, but felt like it lacked much flavor, probably due to the little sauce. Nonetheless, it wasn't worth a 35 minute wait. So next time, when you come to this KFC, be prepared to wait. Be prepare for an incorrect order. Prepare...
Read moreI go here a LOT since its close to my work and the only location near my residence. I've gotten some bad meals, but it is what it is. This time was unexcuseable though. The chicken completely undercooked, purple-pink all over. The Mac and cheese had a weird taste to it. The woman in the drive thru was extremely rude, didn't give me the drinks I paid for. I got the 10 piece meal deal, for my family. Comes with a half gallon bag of soda. She closed the window after handing me my food and I had to wait until she took another order before she even noticed i was still waiting. When I asked for my drink she handed me one large soda, so I asked about the bag. She explained they were out, which is fine, but thats a meal meant for 4 people, and I paid for a half gallon of soda. Last time, they gave me two drinks, so I mentioned that, to see if that was possible again. "You want a SECOND drink?!?" She did finally give me the second drink and closed the window again while I asked for sauce.
When I unpacked for us to eat, like I said the food was under cooked, the sides tasted off, and the chicken was soggy and missing most of the breading.
I am SO disappointed. I know not to expect much when I go to this location, for years they have been giving the worst fast food service in the area, but this was far worse than I could even begin to expect. And they weren't even close to busy, so that is no excuse. This location needs a huge overhaul of staff and serious training on how to prepare food and how to treat a customer. I've worked in fast food before, I know it's not a glamorous job, but it's not that hard to be polite to the...
