I had one of the worst customer service experiences tonight (June 21st at 8:59 PM) at this KFC location. I went through the drive-thru and was helped by a cashier named AJ. I ordered the Chicken and Waffle meal with a sweet tea. After paying, I was told my food wasn’t ready, so I was asked to pull forward and wait.
While waiting, I tried my tea and it tasted like plain water — no sweetness, no flavor. I got out to go inside and ask for a replacement, but the doors were locked. I waited in my car and saw a staff member bringing out other orders. I told him the tea tasted like water and asked if I could just get a bottled water instead. His response? “They count the waters.” I said I’d pay for it, and he told me I had to go back through the drive-thru line, which had 3–4 cars ahead. That was incredibly frustrating, especially since I still hadn’t received my food.
Eventually, I tried the door again and it opened. I went inside and spoke to the manager. I explained the situation, including the bad tea, and asked again for a bottle of water. He didn’t offer any kind of solution and was dismissive. When I finally received my meal, the waffle was burnt, and the chicken tenders were clearly old and dry. I’ve worked in food service for 15 years — I know the difference between fresh and reheated or sitting-too-long chicken.
The manager insisted the tenders were freshly made, but they were cold, salty, and rubbery. When I asked for a refund, I was told no. Not only did I get old, inedible food, but I also had to deal with rude and unprofessional service. I ended up throwing the food away and going to Popeyes, where I received hot, fresh tenders and mac & cheese without any issues.
I spend money eating out daily — I don’t mind paying for quality food and good service. But tonight was a perfect example of a business completely failing to value its customers. This wasn’t a mistake — it was neglect and refusal to take accountability.

Read morePlaced an order For delivery through DoorDash at 10:15 on Saturday night September 13 2025. At 10:45 I got a notification saying that the store was out of chicken and they reassigned my order to another Dasher. I was assigned three Dashers and still DoorDash app said that my food was being prepared. I called the store and the young man who answered the phone told me that my food had already been picked up. I called the DoorDash and he told me that the store said they were out of chicken. I called the store back and told them that I was aware. They said they weren’t making the food and the person who I talk to lied to me and he said “ma’am. We close in 10 minutes we’re out of everything“ but I had ordered an hour prior. This place is garbage. They didn’t want to do any more work so they got rid of all of their chicken and didn’t complete my order. But, since DoorDash thinks that my order is being prepared and will somehow arrive after the store is already closed, I can’t get my money back.I’d like somebody to get a hold of me and make this right. Read moreI've eaten here a few times now, but have had minor problems each time (small things missing from the order mostly). Ordered the Double Down today, but the sandwich I received did not have bacon, and the meal didn't include my fries. So, a friend of mine tossed my complaints into an AI generator, and now we have this poem:
Oh, woeful fate, that KFC's own staff In Glen Burnie, Maryland, be so daft! A serial incompetence they possess, For never have I received, I must confess, An order true, from their unworthy hands. This time, the Double Down meal deal demands Were cast aside with reckless disregard: Bacon omitted, fries denied, oh how hard To bear this burden, this culinary slight. Mayhaps I shall avoid this sorry sight Of KFC Glen Burnie's hapless crew, And seek a meal more worthy, pastures new.
As for the food quality, it's good insomuch as what you expect when you order KFC. Just make sure to check your order before...
