KFC — Restaurant in Maryland

I visited this location around 2:00 pm today 7/7/2024. It was moderately busy considering the church right down the road had just let out. Let me preface this with the fact that I have always left a good review, if there is an issue I contact whoever privately. However, the Manager Nicole at this location will be the only exception.

This interaction is the worst interaction that I’ve ever had at a fast food place, as a previous fast food employee this was crazy. Long story short the Manager was on the drive-thru taking orders with a nasty attitude. Before I made it to the next widow I knew that I would be cancelling the order. I got to the window and asked to speak to whoever was speaking to me and the Manager. Of course, Nicole with the braid wig was the rude person and the Manager. Great.

Miss Nicole I’m talking directly to you, you were nasty and I was polite, you couldn’t even look me in the eyes beloved because you knew that you were wrong. You are setting a terrible example for those young women that were watching you. You need a new career path, you do not need to be around food, people, dogs, laundry, or anything. With this attitude, you will ruin someone else’s business.

Do not ever disrespect the people who keep you employed. Do not ever speak to a person like that and then do not take accountability. If your day was that bad then GO HOME. You are responsible for how you show up in the world and you my dear are going out bad, treat people how you want to be treated....

I’ve been to this location on two different occasions and have been disappointed both times. My 1st visit through the drive-through the order was; a 5 piece chicken meal and a Tennessee hot chicken sandwich, she repeated it back to me it was correct. I get my food and carry on about my day. I get home open the sandwich and it’s a regular chicken sandwich which is not what I ordered.

The 2nd visit, knowing what happened after the 1st visit, I ordered the same thing and before I pulled off I checked my bag and what happened? The chicken sandwich was wrong again, I informed the window clerk which he proceeded to take the sandwich back and drizzled sauce on it and gave it back to me. Now I’m sure this is definitely against any type of food handling service policy and especially during this dangerous time of the Covid-19 era. I drove away and went to another KFC on Central Ave who’s always had my order correct the first time. I will no longer go to the Mitchellville location because there are some food service updated training sessions needed before...

The chicken pot pie was phenomenal!

I asked the driver thru representative if they had the cherry poppers. Not only was the volume on her headset low, and I couldn't understand a word she was saying, but she made a rude, loud, and ignorant response stating, "IT'S ON THE MENU!"

Um, NO IT IS NOT.

I asked how many do they come in. Again, same response. Still couldn't understand a word being said due to the volume being low.

UM, IT IS NOT ON THE MENU.

Pot pie was hot, flaky, and really good. The poppers were cold. Like frozen cold. And they were apple. Not cherry.

There was no talking anything out here. The level of attitude was just...wow. I was in the middle of nowhere and hadn't had a chance to stop and eat. I asked simple questions.
