Customer service is horrible. About a week and a half ago I stopped by this store and specifically asked the person behind the counter whether they would deliver to my home address. She asked me for my address so that she could double check and proceeded to say yes they could. I called this evening and asked if they could deliver a pizza to my house and the woman on the phone said no. I then asked her why I was told otherwise the last time I stopped by in person. She said she had no idea but that it was too far and they couldn't deliver. I said that's fine I understand you're saying no now but why was I misinformed when I stopped by last time? She said New Market is just too far is 13 minutes away we won't deliver there. I again ask her okay that's fine but why did they say yes last time and now you're saying no? No matter how many times I asked she had nothing to say other than my manager says we can deliver there. I said that's fine I want to talk to your manager. She put some man on the phone that I don't believe was a manager at all and he had an attitude the entire conversation. I again asked the same thing again why was I misinformed last time and you said that you would deliver and now you're saying you won't? He says I don't understand why you just won't take no, I said no. At this point, I was extremely upset. All I wanted was an apology for being misinformed and instead he was just rude as hell to me. I express my frustration with the way he was speaking to me and he proceeded to hang up on me. At no point did I cuss or did I say anything rude. I just continued to say all I wanted was an apology for being misinformed. I don't believe anyone should be speaking to their customers this way. Honestly, I don't believe I was talking to a manager at all because if he was a manager he wouldn't have spoken to me like that. I've been called back and reach the same lady again and asked why was I hung up on? I said, all I wanted was an apology for being misinformed and instead you guys spoke to me rude as hell. She proceeded to respond to me by saying "first of all..." Because of this situation with these two people that treated me horribly I will not be bringing my business back there. I had a really hard time finding a pizza place I like here near New Market and I thought I had finally found one but...
Read moreI had the worst experience there and I will never fo back or recommend anyone else to. I got a to go menue to order from. I placed my order and when the gentleman told me my total price I asked him why it was so much. He stated that the garden salad was 4.75 and the other prices for the food I had order was a different orice then what I was looking at on the menu. I tild him just take the salad off that was way to much for some lettuce. He told the manager that I wanted to take off the garden salad and he became very rude to me and asked me why. I told him I would get the other items but I would not pay 5.00 just for a garden salad with lettuce and olives. He begin to then ask me to I k ow how much they pay for lettuce wich I dont care how much they pay i wasnt going to pay that much for that price and that he was wrong to have the menu say a price and then charge me a different price. He stated that other regular customers know the price and they understand. I said he needed to pay for new menus to be printed rather then mislead customer into thinking there paying a price and charging another. He still wanted to be argumentative with me witch then caused other customers to leave the business. I told him to cancel my order and refund my debit card. This guy was so just so awful and I will...
Read moreAfter looking up reviews from three Italian restaurants near the harpers ferry area we found that Kings was the highest rated. We ordered a small pizza, baked ziti, and a chicken bacon ranch wrap. They told us 40-45 mins and the food took an hour and 20 mins to get to us. After an hour we called and asked what was up and we were told the delivery guy was just leaving. After getting the food we had to go out to get napkins and cutlery. Because we are staying at a local inn (8 mins away from the restaurant). Kings restaurant knew we were staying in an inn because they told us they were waiting for the room next to ours order to be ready for them to leave. So that the delivery driver only had to make one trip. One would think that they would have included cutlery (since how is one supposed to eat baked ziti with their hands) and napkins. The food was not worth the 4+ star rating in our opion. It wasn’t awful but it wasn’t great. The delivery guy was nice though and apooogized...
