Ledo Pizza Derwood, MD — Restaurant in Maryland

Update . . . we appreciate that Ledo's corp reached out and asked us to contact them. We did using the contact provided, but never got a response. Our review stands and we've been frequenting a different Ledo's.

First, we LOVE Ledo's pizza and have been going to this location for years. It's slowly taken a turn for the worse and today was the last time we'll visit this location. The pic is from tonight's take out order and unfortunately I did not look at it before leaving. They used to always open the box to make sure you received the correct order, this time they did not. What we got was disappointing. As you can see, several slices had no cheese or even sauce. It was supposed to be 1/2 anchovies, but they were scattered and only about a 1/2 dozen pieces. The service was not great either. There was one customer there before me and they were finishing up his order. Then, rather than ask me if I was picking up or placing an order, the owner walked away from the counter and started going thru pizza boxes behind him, no one was waiting, so there was no one waiting to pick up except me. Then someone from the kitchen came out, again, did not greet me, instead started running tickets out of the register. Then another came out from the kitchen, still no greeting and she started straightening out the cookie display. Finally, a 4th employee came out and asked if I was here to pick up and took my payment. Disappointing pizza and poor service. Will not be back. Taking my business to the Olney location from now on. Hopefully they...

I love the pizza here but am fed up with coming in and getting dirty looks and bad vibes from the Iranian looking woman who is always there. She is nice to everyone but me it seems? doesn’t say hi or smile or even look at me most times and I have no choice but take my pizza and leave as she looks the other way and says nothing to me and drops her smile after smiling and greeting the person before me!?

Why?? I thought of asking but that felt weird as I have no idea what I could of done wrong I just pick up the pizza say hi and leave.

I’ve had a very hard life lately since the pandemic and as sad as this sounds, this pizza is one of the only few comforts I have left in my life right now, and really don’t deserve this at all.

I don’t need drama to just get pizza as the last few times something was wrong with it, today there was only cheese on half of it? Very little barely nothing on the other half and the crust was soggy even tho I asked for it to be well done? She glared at me again from the kitchen as the other girl was super nice to me when my order was messed up and forgot to include something as well.. the nice girl helped me as the other women darted glaring dark looks and negative vibes from the kitchen.

I’m done with being treated like this and will never come here again! I only came to this one because it’s close to my work and this is my fix when I have a bad day, but if she is treating me like this I don’t want to have to also worry what she is doing...

I've been going to this ledos four over twenty years. Most of the time I get carried out. Never have any issues until the last two times. A friend and I went and dined in, Our waiter was a male and his service wasn't that good. But I love the food. I wear a large salad with extra blue cheese and a gentlemen brought me. The food and both blue cheese were half full. I brought it to his attention and poured one into the other which made a full one. You brought me a doctor pepper that was almost see through and I told him there was something wrong with the drink. He act like he didn't care and he still charged me for extra blue cheese. That was sunday. The last time was a short young lady I did carry out. She was rude and gave me attitude because I gave her a three dollar tip on a small pizza.
