Ledo Pizza Millersville, MD — Restaurant in Maryland

We were seated at about 8:45 PM and 3 of us ordered the unlimited soup, salad, and bread sticks. At about 9:10 we asked for additional bread sticks and were told the kitchen closed at 9 PM so we were not able to make a an additional order. Obviously this was disappointing, so I asked to speak to the manager.

Although the manager was nice and took off an order from our bill, she told me that they do not tell customers the kitchen is closing since their hours are posted on the door and it says the store closes at 9 PM. I questioned if this is the case, why wouldn't our waitress at least let us know the kitchen is closing to see if we wanted anything else. The answer was that they do not do that so customer do not feel rushed. This makes no sense at all to me. The restaurant should either inform clients when ordering or prior to the kitchen closing as a courtesy that refills may not be possible.

This seemed to me to be more the staff wanting to close and get home as quickly as possible, as opposed to providing good customer service. I decided to give a 3 rating instead of lower due to the attempt to satisfy me by removing an order from the bill. We ordered from Ledo's last night and I wanted to update this review. Still 5 stars but I just wanted to fill in some details. Millersville is always a great location and the front staff are always nice and helpful. Ledo's top 3 items in my opinion are: 1) the most obvious, their pizza. We always get the extra cheese and pre cooked bacon. The crust is thn and crispy and good enough to eat on its own. Their signature sauce is always on point and the pre cooked bacon is large, crispy crumbles. Second, the salads. All are good, my go to is the buffalo chicken salad. If you order on the app or online, its the crispy chicken salad and, in addition to your choice of dressings, you can order bbq or buffalo sauce. I get the buffalo and blue cheese and the salad is hitting. Third, are he spicy raviolis on the appetizer menu. Crisy outside, soft and cheesy inside with just the right amount of heat that hits your tongue about 2 or 3 seconds into your chew. Everything is good, as well, that we have tried over the years. The subs, fries, whether the bacon cheese or old bay or just regular, wings are the juiciest and packed with flavor on their own or with one of flavors anything with the meatballs is maade with love that you can feel. Visited Wednesday around 4:30pm with my family. We were seated right away but the waitress didn't come over for about 5 minutes. We were not given a kids menu for our 9 year old, I had to get up and request one from the waitress (she was busy on her phone). There was only one other table in the restaurant at this time and they were finished and just hanging out. After she got off her phone and came over to us, she was very quick. Felt rushed to give drink orders and was walking away before I could even tell her what my son wanted to drink. We ordered the pretzel as an appetizer which came out with the food, but ok. She never came back to check on us at all except as we neared the end of the meal. No refills. Nothing. The food was good, so that is a positive.

As we were leaving, we all used the restroom. My husband noticed that the guy who was working the front register used the bathroom and then just left. No hand washing?! Yikes. Its clear to me that there should be some more training for these teens. A customer should never see an employee on their phones, unless there is some emergency.
