I am not from here, just passing through, but I literally took a chance on google reviews and drove 20 minutes in a rain storm. You know where the radar app shows everything as red, yeah that kind of rain just to get to this place. It was scary at times because some people don’t know how to drive in the rain but I digress.
Shame on me for even considering settling for Dominos before I picked this place. This was by far, (Ha made a joke because I drove 20 minutes, never mind) by far the best pizza I have had in a very long time.
I ordered the steak-N-cheese, excellent, the wings [hot] also excellent and the meat lovers pizza simply because I could not decide to order, and it was also excellent. I am so glad I splurged and tried them all.
The wings even had extra sauce at the bottom so you know they were saucy and delicious. The steak-N-cheese was cheesy all over the place and don’t even get me started on the pizza. Man, I tell ya, the meat lovers was not like those other places where you have big chunks of bacon fat that is all blubbery, nah this was perfect pieces of bacon that covered every inch of this pie. And the sausage wasn’t those giant lumps of sausage placed like little boulders on the other guy’s pizza and you only get like 10, nah these were tiny and covered the entire surface.
Absolutely amazing. 10 out of 10 will drive 40 minutes (there and back, do the math) to eat here again.
Sorry, no pictures. I ate it all before I could write this but it was...
Read moreI just happened to wander here today after a doctor's appointment and I could not have been happier with my experience. The staff were very kind and helpful and easy to strike a conversation with, the restaurant was clean and organized. There were no other patrons there but also it was Tuesday afternoon on a rainy day. Now, the pizza was great! I ordered the supreme and it was everything I wanted in that moment. The toppings were all very well balanced in flavor, no one topping was overwhelming the others. The cheese blend was a great consistency, not too stringy which to me is a plus. The sauce was well balanced, sweet enough and with the right amount of acidity. And the crust! it was flaky on the outside and airy on the inside and very tasty! While I was there I joked with the young man that rang me up that I would be in trouble if I could eat a whole large pizza on my own, but honestly, the pizza was so good and so well balanced that I had to stop myself from devouring it in one sitting! I am going to be returning here for sure and I will bring friends and tell them about this wonderful little...
Read moreVery nice, locally owned and operated sandwich/pizza shop. When you step into the restaurant or view their website, you'd think they are a major franchise with many locations by the look of the printed materials, logos and whatnot, but it's just this one location, with a lot of love and effort put into having a professional appearance that goes so well with their delicious food items. Everything is made to order, with fresh, quality ingredients. There is no skimping on pizza toppings or sandwich ingredients. You can have everything your way. The prices are a little higher than average, especially compared with budget chains, but the prices reflect the quality of the offerings. The shop does a big business of delivery and takeout, and there is a smallish dining area for those who prefer to eat in. The folks running the show are very friendly and will remember repeat customers, a refreshing change compared to so many places that have so much staff turnover. You can't beat the personal,...
