Maggi's Pizza and Subs — Restaurant in Maryland

I wish had taken a photo of the pizza before we devoured it. It was gorgeous and so tasty! I can see why there is a big trophy in their establishment for award-winning pizza. We were hoping to find somewhere to eat in. After driving around and having difficulty finding parking we were headed to McDonald's and saw the sign for Maggi's Pizza and Subs.There were many different choices of pizza selections or make your own. The subs menu looked good; I'll be back to get the Italian buffalo chicken sub. Desserts included large cookies, cake slices, cheesecake slices and others. The people were so friendly and they knew their left from their right :) It didn't take long at all to have our order ready. When we got home, my husband suggested leaving the review and he doesn't do that - so you know it had to be good! Stop in if you're ever in Damascus and visit Maggi's...

I was heading to the office after a meeting in VA. I thought I would get breakfast somewhere prior to getting on the road, but that wasn't the case this day. As I was motoring through Damascus, all I wanted was a pizza joint to grab a bite of something, then be on my way up to Westminster. This place delivered the goods!

I ordered a California club on a jalapeno bagel with a bag of chips. Finger sucking goodness.

Oh, megabonus points (and I probably shouldn't share this), but these cats were kind enough to let me use the employee restroom (rather than taking #1 out back).

A hardy hello to these jolly souls, because of the service and the food, five stars...

Really good food in a very nice portion. Kudos.

UPDATE (5 stars reduced to 3 stars):

I just ordered a Buffalo Chicken sub that was almost all toasted sub. There was almost no meat to speak of. The chicken that was on the sub, was fresh, flavorful and good, but there should have been at least twice (preferably 3X) the amount of chicken to make a reasonable ratio for a sub. The chicken (and even the amount) would probably make a delicious sandwich (prepared on a smaller sandwich roll). Honestly, a sub with that amount of chicken should not be offered as a menu item. Maggi's food is usually very fresh and hot, this was just not a good ratio of...
