Ordered veg pakoras, lasuni gobhi, fried rice, and garlic naan and palak paneer.
The pakoras were undercooked inside, and the fried rice was a complete letdown—burnt frozen vegetables tossed with soy sauce and rice, lacking any real flavor or freshness. It didn’t resemble authentic fried rice at all. As for the garlic naan, avoid ordering any Indian bread here unless you’re looking for a jaw workout—the texture was rubbery and hard.
I’ve ordered from this place three times, hoping it might improve, but it’s consistently disappointing. It’s frustrating to see such poor quality from a new restaurant. There seems to be zero effort from the management to ensure fresh, well-prepared food. Stop serving subpar dishes under the label of Indian cuisine at such high prices. What a waste of money.
Reply to Owner’s response: i can vouch I have ordered from your menu and please check Uber Eats order because that was the platform I used. I am not jobless to post reviews if I have not ordered. Rest assured.
I appreciate you taking criticism...
Read moreI am SO happy that a great Indian/Nepalese restaurant finally opened up in this area. I've been here a few times already and tried several of their non vegetarian dishes. None of them have disappointed. The butter chicken is yum and the chicken momos are the best I've had in the DMV area. Absolute must have! The staff are very courteous and super prompt. Service is quick, the ambience is good and the place is super clean. The portions are generous as well. They are pricey so this can't be a regular go-to for everyone. Their prices are more in line with fine dining, which this place is not. I'm definitely going to be eating here and getting takeout many times. Love the food! Very unlike most Indian restaurants in the area which serve south Indian flavored non South Indian dishes. This Nepalese restaurant...
Read moreFirst time here, not overly familiar with Indian cuisine. I like it, just don’t eat it enough to know what’s what. The menu was extensive to the point of being overwhelming. I ordered a skewer sampler platter and when delivered, asked the server what each item was on my plate. I knew what was supposed to be on the plate, just not which item was what specifically. The waiter could not identify the meats served, and with the spices etc., I couldn’t always tell what type of meat I was eating. Some things I liked better than others; not knowing what each one was means it’ll be a guessing game, again, when/if I return. At the time, they didn’t have an alcohol license. Atmosphere was fine - not too loud or crowded. It was an...
