I would give 0 stars if I could. My first experience with the place was in February 2022, when we went there to celebrate my daughter's 6th birthday. That visit was great. We drove over 75 miles each way and it was totally worth it. Part of the restaurant was closed due to flooding and we were so glad we made reservations because soon the restaurant was packed. It was a true Brazilian style "rodizio de pizza", where you sit at the table and the servers come with different styles of pizza for you to try until you are completely full. Our server was great, she kept coming and checking on us. This guy, whom I assumed was the manager, also came to ask me what kind of pizza we wanted and then brought it to us. Then they found out it was my daughter's birthday and they brought her churros with Nutella and everyone in the restaurant sang "Happy Birthday". We were so delighted with that experience that we decided to drive over 1h 20 minutes each way again to celebrate mother's day yesterday. We found a completely different atmosphere. We also had reservations this time, but this time the restaurant was not completely full. There were 5/6 tables top, 2 of them with large parties ( 8 people or so), yet service was lacking. Our server explained that they have changed the way they are doing rodizio, and now you have to pick 4 flavors and they bring 1 PIZZA with those flavors to your table. Once you are done, you can request another pizza with different flavors, so you have to wait until they cook your pizzas. Not only that, if you must know what flavors to ask for because if you don't like it too bad. We paid over127 dollars for the 3 of us for 1 pizza! I was so upset. We asked for a second pizza, but we didn't like it and our server was horrible. She didn't come to check on us. she asked us for drinks when we first came in, but never asked for refills, when she came back and we told her we wanted a different pizza since we didn't like the second one she brought, she told us she had to ask the kitchen since it was 8:50 ( we were there since 7:20) and the kitchen closed at 9:00, yet they kept bringing pizzas to the other tables. Funny enough the sweet pizzas were still brought rodizio style. The restaurant was not full so no excuse for such bad service, but it doesn't matter the quality of the service as you are automatically required to pay an 18% tip no matter what on your check. I will no longer rave about this place and not waste my time going there. Totally not worth it. The most expensive 1 pizza...
Read moreThe first time I had this pizza was through a Groupon and I gave them a 5 star review. I was so impressed, I told everyone that it was the best pizza around, well worth the price and the drive (we are about 30 min away). I was so excited to get them again but this time it was a huge let down. We ordered the same 2 pizza's that we did the first time which is about $60 total. So they changed the way they make the bacon pizza. It used to be loaded with crispy bacon crumbles, much more than regular chain restaurants use and it was AMAZING! This time it had a few bacon strips spread across the pizza, nothing special, nothing above any other place. The taste was mediocre and nothing I would rant and rave about. The 2nd pizza was the Calabresa pizza which was fabulous the first time where the smoked sausage cups curled up crispy on the edges with the perfect portion of onions, olives and cheese. This time it was so undercooked, the sausage was very chewy and the crust was raw dough throughout half of it and just undercooked in the rest. Both pizza's appeared slightly smaller this time as well but that could just be my disappointment playing tricks on me. I was very sad that for $60 my kids ate only one slice and said they wished I had gotten little Ceasars instead 🤯 I felt embarrassed for my friends and neighbor's if this is what they got after I told them this was the best in the area:( This is pretty expensive pizza and if this was my only visit, I would say it was a complete waste of my money and...
Read moreWe decided to try this place for Valentine's Day dinner, which, in hindsight, might have been a mistake. The restaurant was packed, as expected, but the service definitely suffered. It was a bit frustrating, to be honest. We had to ask for water at least three or four times, and each time we were told it was 'coming right up.' It took quite a while, which was a very disappointing start to the meal
On the bright side, the food itself was quite good. The chef's combo steak was a highlight – perfectly cooked and seasoned, with a really delicious flavor. The sides that came with it were also very tasty and well-prepared. The calabresa pizza, while flavorful, was a bit on the heavy side. It was a bit too much for me, but someone with a preference for heavier pizzas might enjoy it more.
The atmosphere was okay. The interior is dimly lit, which creates a cozy ambiance, but it also made it a bit difficult to see the menu. They have a mix of seating, with tables for both large and small groups. However, when the restaurant is busy, it gets quite noisy and crowded, making it hard to have a conversation.
Overall, I'd say it's not a bad place to eat, especially if you're looking for a good steak. I'd definitely recommend avoiding it on holidays or other busy nights. The lackluster service really put a damper on our Valentine's Day experience. If you go on a less busy night, you'll probably have a much better time.
