Everytime I go to this one they get my order wrong. This last time was the last straw for me. I went through the drive thru...ordered two 20 piece chicken nuggets, a large fry and a medium fry. The lady said it would be 14 dollars and some change. She repeated the 14 dollars and change when I got to the window. I handed her my husband's card then she gave me my receipt. I usually never look at the receipts unless there's a problem. Big mistake. When I got to the second window for the food I was given a bag. I always check my order at the second window. Thank God I did because the order was wrong. I gave it back to the lady telling her it was wrong in hopes of it being corrected. (This was my husband's order and my kids mind you. I had MY food already in the car from Popeyes and I was munching on it during this whole experience.) The lady says ok well correct it just wait in car waiting slot 2. Slot 2 was taken so I waited in slot 3. 2 orders came out. None of which were my husband's order. So I turned the car off and I went in. Little did I know they were never gonnla come with my order. They served everyone else. If I had waited in the car my husband wouldv'e never got his food. Hold on it gets worse. So I grab the receipt and go in. I ask to speak with the manager by now I've been waiting for 15 mins. (That doesn't bother me because last time I went I waited that long and no one answered on drive through so I had to go inside. One car already pulled off before me). Inside I tell the manager what happened. She asks for the receipt which I present. Little did I know the woman that was doing drive thru handed me a receipt for two 4 piece chicken nuggets a medium fry and small fry. Smdh. The same order I gave back and was incorrect. The manage asked the second window lady which of course she lied. The manager kept looking at the man standing two people behind me shaking her head like I had lost it. Turns out he was a sheriff. He came up to me not 6 feet apart with no mask stating that I couldn't use my huband's card because it might be stolen. I quoted federal law that I could given his permission because I was his wife. He still wanted to fight me on that. I told him my husband is a 100% disabled PTSD vet, that I was his caregiver which I've been since before we were married 8 years ago and that if he and the manager wanted him to present himself and deal with this situation of getting his order wrong I would go and pull him from his house which his condition can't handle being put in public places with stress. (This was a stressful enough situation for me and I've worked in Customer service for over 20 years and the managers handle of this was all the way wrong. I'm a senior customer service rep now and before that I was a manager of customer service at another company before it had lay offs due to Covid.) The sheriff went back in his line position knowing he didn't have any authority on the issue as well as thr manager coughed up the order correctly that I ordered for my husband. But I let her know she needed to watch the woman handling the drive thru orders and charging peoples cards wrong. I told her I had my food in the car from popeyes and that this wasn't about the order. It was about customer service, quality assurance, and disabled people's rights to have a proxy in their stead in case defending their rights. They obviously don't care about getting your order wrong. The manager will tell you tough luck if your charged for something other than what you ordered by the drive thru woman who got the order wrong. Always look at your receipt especially here and always check the bag before you leave. Just advice skip the head ache and...
Read moreIf I could rate this place lower than a 1, I would. Let me tell you about my experience this morning at your establishment with an employee named Shawdae. Firstly, I ordered 2 breakfast meals one for me and my daughter. I paid, waited in line, and when my drinks were handed to me (1 straw when I had 2 drinks) I was told to wait in a spot for my food because it wasn't ready. I had no issue with that! I then asked Shawdae, if she could please put mayo and ketchup in the bag as me and my daughter like mayo on our sandwiches and ketchup for our hash browns. I was told, they were OUT of packets. Which again, I had no issue with. I kindly asked if someone preparing my food could put some mayo in a container then and I would scoop it and apply it myself. I was told by Shawdae, it's breakfast time and she wasn't going in the back to get mayo for me because it's not her job and she's short staffed. (Any other establishment I've been to, even other McDonald's, I've NEVER been told that or treated that way they always would give some in a container if they were out of packets, because ya know, that's what you do for your customers). Anyways, I go wait in the spot, when my food was brought out to me there was no mayo in the bag. I walked INSIDE, because at this point Shawdae obviously thinks this is a joke and at this point I'm very very very angry and upset.. I over hear her talking mess in the window and kitchen to her other employees about me, over mayonnaise... As if it was really that hard to squirt some mayo in a container, and mind you, she says they're short staffed but I counted at least a handful of employees with NO customers in the building or in line. I then ask another lady running register, nicely, if I could please have some mayo because the lady in the window is being extremely rude. This lady, then proceeds to ask me "sure, do you want your mayo in a container or do you want packets?" ... I laughed in anger at this time because Ms Shawdae just told me y'all didn't have any packets, and that she wasn't getting me a container of mayo either, but whole time you got packets right here. Your employee Shawdae then proceeds to laugh and joke saying "oh haha you must've moved them on me" talking to the other employee who was actually wanting to help me. After I got the mayo packets, I asked Shawdae what her name was and she responded RUDELY, and after giving her name she says with aggression "why, what is the problem?". So not only was I mistreated, I was lied to, laughed at, talked about, AND a ruined breakfast time with my daughter all because an employee was too lazy to look for something. If you don't want to help people, ya know because it's your JOB, maybe you should go home or just find a new place of employment. I typically don't even write reviews, but this woman really had me fuming. Please think twice about who you're hiring and having serve your area of customers. I see why this is a 2 star facility....
Read moreWe came though the drive through at approximately 2:50am. We ordered a fairly simply meal for 4 people. 3 triple (no pickles on 2, no onions or pickles on 1)cheese burgers, fries, 3 drinks and nuggets with honey mustard. First we got the food and realized no sauce was included. We asked for it and it was given to us. After driving off we noticed napkins was not in the bag. That wasn’t a huge deal but inconvenient. We live in Havre De Grace and it’s about a 15-20 minutes drive home. We got home and noticed that all the burgers were wrong which is when we promptly called them to notify them of the problem. A gentleman answered the phone did not identify himself and asked what was wrong with the order. So I told him the burgers we were charged for we didn’t receive. They were incorrectly made. He asked me if I could return to have the issue fixed. We agreed. After another lengthy drive back to McDonalds we waited at the window 5-10 minutes before deciding to call inside to let someone know it was us in the drive thru window. Again he answered the phone did not identify himself and said he thought we would come to the intercom. I said no we were at the window already. After another wait a gentleman comes to the window with what I’m guessing is the 3 burgers remade. What about the rest of the meal? We declined. Said we would prefer a refund. Now the manager appears. He asks what the problem is. We begin to explain while he looked as if we were bothering him. My husband and I decided if that I’d the wouldn’t even ask what the entire order was we would MUCH rather a refund. So the manager disappears with my husbands card only to come back to our vehicle to ask us to AGAIN wait 20 minutes for a refund since he just DECIDED to do his EOD. Not our problem. His system was down and asked if he could just give us cash....
