I went in recently and it was by far the worst experience I’ve had at this location, at any other restaurant. I’ve been to this location several times and I’ve had some average service and some bad ones. Like twice I’ve paid for something and then being told that they don’t have it or that the machine isn’t working AFTER I already paid. But this last visit, I made the mistake of going when it was a little busier and it was around 6:45-7pm. Before my order was taken, the young cashier saw me and another customer with her son waiting in line, ignored us for maybe 5 minutes. When she finally decided to come over I ordered an Oreo frappe and she asks me, “Did I see how much it was?” I know she assumed I was homeless and couldn’t afford it. Never have I been judged like this by anyone by my skin color especially someone who is also black. This location has a lot of homeless that are usually around but that’s no excuse to judge someone like this. I’m black and approaching my mid thirties and the cashier was maybe early twenties. The color of someone’s skin shouldn’t matter but I guess some of the employees here, that’s what they seem to focus on. After I pay, I waited close to 20 mins just for the frappe. Meanwhile she’s taking other orders and all the while the registers in the front aren’t working this day as they seem to not work for whatever reasons on some days and no word of this to any of the customers and she’s taking my card and other customers’ money at the same time to some register in the back. Someone who actually ordered after me and had ordered the same exact frappe received hers before I did. One of the other employees called for the frappe and then I walk up of course thinking it’s mine and she goes, “this isn’t yours” with an attitude. Like one of the other reviewers I’ve read here, there’s definitely a priority treatment if you’re hispanic based on this visit and some other visits I’ve had here. The restaurant often has a few tables that are left unclean for long periods of time and it wasn’t always because it was busy. There’s usually no sense of urgency with most of the employees here except for usually at the drive-thru I’ve noticed. I am sometimes in and out in a few minutes on days that they aren’t busy but only with certain employees. One other thing that I forgot to mention hence the edit, there was an officer or security guard in the restaurant who I’ve witnessed harassing a young customer the same day. And when I decided to use the restroom, he goes in after me I’m guessing to check to see if I was gonna dirty it up. You’re better off going to one of the nearby Mcdonald’s or other restaurants unless you want to be judged based on how you look. I’m never...
Read moreDO NOT GO TO THE LANGLEY PARK LOCATION ON NEW HAMPSHIRE AVENUE UNLESS YOU ARE HISPANIC! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! I normally do not go here but my friend wanted some fries and I was in need of a bathroom. I went to the bathroom and my friends ordered fries. The dining room was crowded. I came out of the bathroom and my friend and I were talking and I had just said, "we should have gone to the McDonald's down the street" when I realized that all is the Hispanic customers, (both those that were there before us and those who came in after us) were being served while the few white and blacks were standing around waiting. I was speaking to a black woman who had only ordered coffee. During this time, we noticed that 2 Hispanics came in, ordered full meals and were served. Finally, the lady asked about here coffee and was told, its coming. At that point my friend asked about his fries and was told they had to make some but they were coming. Eventually, they did come but not before another Hispanic woman came in, placed her order and was given her meal which included fries. Once my friend got his order, we tasted the fries and they were barely warm. The cashier said, "they just cooked them". What we had seen was them bag some fries, place them on one of the little shelves, (not even a warming table) and walk away. When my friend inquired about his fries, that was the bag they picked up and gave him. My friend asked for a refund, left, and went to the other McDonald's down the street. The black lady asked why is it taking so long for her order. They gave her a coffee off of the drink table. It had already been poured and place on the table. The young cashier and other team members were so busy playing around that they were not paying attention to what...
