I changed my rating from a 2 to a 1. They made a mistake again at the register and charged me more. When I pointed it out and mentioned that this is not the first time or had happened the owner started shouting at me . I would avoid this store AT ALL costs
This is not ’the Patel store ’ that one is used to seeing in Atlanta or New Jersey: It's more like a mom and pop store. The upkeep of the store is very poor and the parking lot is unclean. The selections are limited and some items are overpriced.. The store is not well. organized overall. The staff is very very rude and they have no real understanding of customer service. They speak with you in a disparaging way. Also, be careful at the register and make sure you check your receipt. The only reason go to this store is because of it's proximity. I was a bit shocked to see the sorry state of this store after shopping at Patel Brothers in Atlanta for many years which is exceptional. This store has a long way to go! Has potential but needs a lot of work- inside out...
Read moreThe guy at the the cash counter (I guess the owner) did not want to insert my credit card in chip slot instead swiped it. He said that customers did not want to use chip because it takes longer for card approval than swiping. Mr. Patel will you jeopardize people's private information for your own hurry and comfort? It makes me think that an Indian will always be an Indian no matter in India or in the USA. Let me tell you one thing; if my personal information is stolen, I will direct authorities to you because so far no on in this country has ever forced me to swipe instead of inserting in chip slot. I will tell them that it was you who ignored my request to use my card...

The original expiry date on the pack was covered with another sticker, indicating that the flour was expired. This is a serious violation of health standards, and such practices should not be allowed.
This store has all the necessary items required for Indian cooking! Everything is reasonably priced, and the store staff are helpful and friendly. The only con I found was that some of the items placed on the shelves were expired, which I only realized after purchasing. I would suggest everyone check the expiry date of the products you are purchasing from this place to avoid making...
