Obviously located along a busy stretch of Route 1, I expected a level of service far above what I encountered at this location on the morning of September 29th at 6:50 am. The staff was disinterested in customer service of any kind and seemed to care even less about putting out accurate products in a timely fashion. The customer in front of me had to explain her order (admittedly more complicated than normal) to no less than 2 employees just get it placed. All told my experience lasted 20 minutes just to get 2 sandwiches and a hash brown and there was only one guest ahead of me in line. It would have been a shorter visit had I been given the correct food the first time.
Now, I can forgive a mistake in the order, these things happen. What inspired me to write this scathing review was the complete and utter lack of anything that even appeared to be good customer service. Not one smile, not a good morning nothing. No apology for being given the wrong food and an attitude that seemed to imply I was at fault for being given the incorrect sandwich. What's worse was what happened when I asked the young lady for the managers card. "I don't know what that is" she said cocking her head back in a clear display that I was annoying her with a very simple request. "Please give me the name of the manager and phone number for the store." I replied "Which manager are you talking about?" She countered increasingly more aggravated with me.
At the time of writing this reviews I haven't called to complain to the manager yet. But rest assured I'll be sure to let them know where they can find these words. I would not recommend ever setting foot in this McDonalds, there are 3 to 4 within a few miles that are actually interested in...

They said "We can't change the order because you paid thru the app." Once manager got involved and confirmed, I said I'll go elsewhere, just cancel my order. To my astonishment, they said they could not again because it was paid thru the app. They KNOW they lied when they then told me to get refund thru the app. After trying at home to do the refund, I googled it. Their corporate website clearly says get refund from the local manager. Went back two hours later, spoke w same manager in person. He came clean and said they are supposed to do refund but the "boss-manager simply won't allow them to do it." Another visit during pandemic, ~10pm, I ordered an Egg McMuffin (an all-day item) and pulled to next window. Cashier then said manager refused to "let them make me sandwich." I looked over the shoulder of the young cashier and the manager kinda yelled, "just order something from the dinner menu." F..orget you. They weren't busy I was the only customer from what I could see. So, I demanded refund n left. (Payment was on CC, tho considering what happened 2023, I wonder if they issue refunds at all nowadays.). Another visit I ordered double cheeseburger w/ extra meat patty. Read moreI placed my order at a kiosk. It didn't give me a receipt I went to the register - nobody there I waited about 5 minutes, and the manager (Bryson) came up. He never looked looked up at me or acknowledged my presence. About three minutes later, a very overworked employee came and asked if he could help. He looked at my table number, and then at the screen, and asked "Double quarter meal?" And I said yes. He said, "oh no, I just gave it to that guy over there." (Not the first time that has happened to me - apparently it's common for people to walk in off the street and claim a free meal from someone's legit app or kiosk order.) About 10 minutes later, the overworked guy brought me my meal - he did upgrade it to large size which was nice. Of course, during all that, the drive through got 100 pct attention from the staff. I'm pretty much done with dining in at McDonald's. And, geez, Bryson, if you had just looked up at me and said, "Sorry for the delay, someone will be with you shortly," I might not have been pissed off enough to write...
