Behold my tale of woe. To deny salty, crunchy pleasure to those whom have ordered and paid for Bacon on their burger is a grevious sin. A crime which was inflicted upon me by this McDonalds on my previous two visits. Foolishly I hoped my (unanswered) prayers to the online customer feedback may have enacted some change. Optimism crushed when I again received two Bacon DBL Quarter Pounds which again betrayed the epithet "Bacon". In an attempt to appease the porcine gods, I pull into the drive through line. After a goodly wait I'm assured they will remake the sandwiches and bring them out to me in Position 1. Assuming the staff will, in contrition, be quick about resolution, I attempt to pacify my toddler with his happy meal. Ten minutes later there has been no sign of an employee, my son finished his whole dinner, and another car has pulled behind me, presumably also been told to wait in Position 1. I had been forgotten. Like our wayward Bacon, callously disregarded. Once again, with the remainder of our tempid fries and impatient screams we return to line, waiting for an audience with the great and uncaring wizard. Another ten minutes and I'm at the window explaining to the seemingly incredulous white shirt that no, no one ever came out. He says he'll get my order and comes back with one sandwich and no apology. Ah, well at least I was truly forgotten and not just impatient.
I think our weekly quarantine outings to the Urbana McDonalds are at an end. I can not abide so much disrespect to myself...

The drive thru was busy so we opted to go inside to pick up our order that we place via the app. At the time there was some other people inside waiting to place there orders and no one was helping them. All the self service machines were off so those people couldn't place there orders unless someone took it. At this point our order was still not being made and it was clear that they were only focused on the drive thru orders. Finally what appears to be the manager comes over and tells the people waiting in line to use the self service ordering machines that oh yeah are off and walks away. The people in line say that they are off and frustrated the manager comes back to place the others. Now mind you our order has been placed 15 mins before this for some reason the orders that were just placed came out before ours. After five orders came out before ours I told the manager that I believe you are skipping my order. She stats no I'm not and walked away. She comes back and I said yes you are you all aren't even looking at the mobile order screen in the back. She realized it and goes to the back and makes our order. Never once saying sorry. Worst McDonald's ever and they have found a way to turn "I'm Lovin' It" to...

The order seems to be marked as complete at roughly 10:45-10:50 PM, with no food in sight. We received our two burgers at around 11:10 PM, with no fries, after a good 40 minutes. I go back to ask the employee, who was still there, and they told me theyll be back. Finally, I get the fries at roughly 11:25 PM, nearly an hour after our initial order. During this whole period, at least 20 other cars, who had gone through the drive-thru, were served. There was no way to contact the employees, as no one was in the front of the store and the door was locked- going up to the window while someone was getting their food seemed too dangerous. The store was very, very obviously understaffed, and I am very heavily disappointed with this. To top it all off, I was served a regular Cheeseburger instead of my ordered McDouble, and we received no ranch. Of course, the 1 hour wait was the killer, especially as we were in a rush.
