Nick's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Maryland

Let me start off by saying I am a loyal customer and have NEVER gotten bad service… until tonight. Now… we order from Nicks more than literally any other pizza place we could’ve chosen from because they are pretty good. But as soon as you point out something THEY DID WRONG… YOU are wrong, not them. My partner ordered a large pizza with mushroom on the whole thing, sausage on one side, onions on the opposite side. Also ordered fries with the onion ring sauce(costs extra)… got the pizza with onions on the whole pizza… didn’t receive our sauce. When we called to let them know, he repeated the order to us, which was correct but the pizza was not. We got “so what do you want me to do about it”… we didn’t get onions on the whole pizza because I have stomach issues.. will not be ordering there again.

Update* 07.30.2024 My partner and I have been throwing up since late last night after eating a couple of nicks wings. -10000/10 do NOT recommend.

12/26/24—This is the only place that I know, that will take your order, REPEAT IT BACK TO YOU, get it wrong and then when you call, the remake it even worse than the first time. Then when you call AGAIN, they say that there’s nothing they can do because “the manager watched it be made correctly”. BULLSHIT! Even after writing the top half of this review AND ORDERING A SECOND TIME EVEN THOUGH THEY GAVE US FOOD POISONING, we ordered yet again 12/26/2024 and they done messed up for the very last time!! Ordered a pizza half mushroom half pepperoni. Order of fries and the onion ring sauce. First time delivered, they put mushroom and Pep on the entire pizza and forgot our fries and sauce. Second time delivered, they gave us a whole pizza with 2 cheese slices and the rest had mushroom. They said “forget the pep all together and let’s give them 2 slices of cheese”. That’s when they said “I’m sorry but the manager said that he watched your order be made correctly”. Inserted are the said 2 slices with just cheese and 0 pep that “wAs MaDe CoRrEcTlY”. (My special needs son bit into one of the slices) 😊 and because he was annoyed at the fact he couldn’t see pep, he did in fact take it apart to be sure it wasn’t under the cheese. Must’ve did a magic trick, grew legs and walked off the pizza! Taaaadaaaa! Never again will I order from Nick’s. Ordered an extra large cheese pizza delivered. Was delivered and we love their pizza. Price quoted was $15.74.. this includes $.50 for the use of a credit card, a $2.00 delivery charge and taxes. When the pizza was delivered, I signed for it and wrote in a $5.00 tip. I may not be a mathematician, but the total I come up with is $20.74. I look on my bank statement online and I see a charge of $23.74. Then I see yet another charge take it out buy them for $8.00. I called and I question the prices and the girl does tell me the pizza is $13.24 plus a two dollar delivery fee plus a $.50 credit card fee and that does equal $15.74 so I question it been $23.74 and then an additional $8.00 charge. she can’t explain to me why it’s $23.74 (and somewhere in between there she claims that it should’ve been $21.16, but that is not what I was quoted either) nor can she explain why there is an $8.00 charge other than saying to me that we would’ve had to call back in and asked for soda or something else which would’ve added to the bill. We did not call back in and ask for anything else. She said well what does your receipt say? I said well I don’t have a receipt because after I signed it and gave it to him he did not give me a receipt. Evidently, that was a big mistake on my part, not asking for a receipt. Without a receipt she said she can’t help me because I can’t prove what I ordered and what the charge was. So I ended up paying $31.74 for a pizza that should’ve actually only been $20.74 which includes tip, delivery fee, CC...

Ok, we just ordered delivery from Nicks pizza....where we haven’t ate for years, and reviews say their food is ok but they mess up on your order and sometimes rude when you call back to get it fixed, but we thought we would roll the dice....well they messed up on our order and when I called back they told me they couldn’t redeliver the correct order because they were to busy....really? So after telling me the delivery guy would have to call me back, we decided just to return the food and go somewhere else. So I nicely walked into nicks and told them we didn’t want the food and just would like put money back. He said he didn’t understand what my problem was and that he would remake our pizza. I told him not after the way he treated me on the phone. I then mentioned that he should check out his reviews and what they all said is exactly how he treated me. I was very nice the entire time and he looked at me and told me that he recommends I not call there anymore. So I just got banned from Nicks Pizza....first time ever banned! Lol. I looked at him and nicely said, not a problem! 🙂. We won’t be ordering...
